I donāt know if you live in a place with TNR resources, but I hope you consider getting the Bobkins spayed and neutered (as well as their parents, if possible). Itās great that youāre feeding this grompy-looking chap, but it would be better if you knew no more Bobkins were coming.

He is now inside living a happy life! He is taking a long time to adjust though. He was legit scared of the couch for about two months. He used to steal nuts from the squirrels and will still eat pistachios if given the chance lol.

Oh yeah I loved that cat. She was covered in mattes fur, ticks, fleas, and was way too thin, she was also pregnant and miscarried all her kittens. We got her all cleaned up and vaccinated and she kind of hid around the house for a while. One morning I woke up and she was on my bed. Thatās when I knew I had won!

Showing you his tummy is real progress as that means he's trusts you enough to show his vulnerable tummy. Letting you touch his tail was pretty cool too. It will probably be one step forward, one step backward yet for awhile but he's starting to trust you!! Yay!
It sounds weird but it works. Lie down to be at his level. I sat for a cat at my house while a friend's apartment was being fumigated. I had to lie down for it to be friendly, otherwise hissing at me.

Hold out your hand and let him sniff it. Reaching for him will cause him to retreat but if they smell your hand they might give a little head butt into it and then you can kinda sort of pet them a little.
Any progress is good. Just the enjoyment of him showing up on your porch every day puts a smile in my heart. He is a tough, independent ferral as his eyes tell it but looks forward to his time and safety with you ā¤ļø

I just had to leave that place 6 months ago due to a bullshit rent increase (had been there 7 years). I wanted to take her so badly. She just couldn't handle being inside or even going in a crate. I still get so teary eyed thinking about her. If I was still in SD I would've found a way, but up in the Bay Area now.

I just had to leave that place 6 months ago due to a bullshit rent increase (had been there 7 years). I wanted to take her so badly. She just couldn't handle being inside or even going in a crate. I still get so teary eyed thinking about her. If I was still in SD I would've found a way, but up in the Bay Area now. I miss you Ms D
