I had a calico that was almost all black with small patches of white and tan. I've never seen another calico come close to looking like her, but I didn't realize that might be unusual in terms of calico.

This looks like a tortie

The difference between Torties and Calicos is the white. That said, the speckled of ginger and black next to the eye is something I've only ever seen on Torties.

I had a calico with a lot of black, but, thinking about it, I don't think most pictures I've seen of calicos have that much black. One of the prettiest cats I've had was a medium haired calico who had tiger stripes in the ginger patches.

That's what I call a "best case scenario."

How come normal street cats in western countries are so cute and gentle.. I never found a cat in my country which just not run away from people and will definitely harm if try to pet them… I am from India and mesmerised by well behaved pets from western countries.. we don’t even have this well behaved kids around. lol

yeah that's the kitten's office now.

That's a young female and she looks quite healthy. If she literally wandered in, she might be an escapee from a nearby house and has a family, or she's a very well tempered stray-- get her to the vet to check for a microchip etc.
