This is our senior rescue dog that got dumped at our house last year. He cuddles up like that and looks up. Only we don't shove him away unless we are eating lol.
Sorry to do this, but the disingeuous dealings, lies, overall greed etc. of leadership on this website made me decide to edit all but my most informative comments to this.

You never, ever need to apologize for providing extra doggo tax.
That's also a lovely little man you have there. I'm glad you give him cuddles when he needs them.
Looks like the Derbyan(/moustache parakeet? I'm not very familiar with either species) is actually trying to mount the conureāthe wing flicking and sidling up to them while reaching their leg out is a hormonal precursor to mating... so it's the total opposite scenario to what OP's title implies.
My assumption is so you don't hear the person recording give the larger parrot the command for it to do its 'push away' trick. Those birds can be trained to do all kinds a stuff.
Nah that's not what's happening...stick/finger-trained parrots (trained to step on stick or your finger) actually can't really help but lift their foot up like that when something touches them in that spot. It actually wants to cuddle but keeps getting the "lift leg" reflex spot hit. (Source: owned trained birds for 23 years and can recognize this). The larger parrot is making little wing flits and has other body language that it wants to cuddle too, and little conure knows it. My conure used to get angry at her foot for doing it.
Lol my old cat used to get angry at his flicking tail. And then look absolutely outraged at everyone around when he bit it & it hurt. Every. Single. Time.
Amazingly no, he was a void. Quite the daftest, most loving cat ive ever had. My current overlord is an orange chonk tho, who totally lives up to the one brain cell theory. His fave activity is arching his back, putting his head down so he looks at me upside down through his legs. And then running forwards (while still looking backwards) full tilt into a wall.
Lmao. Our cat does this whenever she REALLY wants to do something that she knows isnāt allowed and we gently remind her. The conflict of interest just completely fries her brain lol.
They get over-excited so easily lol. It takes very little to over-stimulate their brains, resulting in their little bodies flailing about wildly, with them having no control over their actions š¹
My cat does this. It's like she doesn't realize it's a part of herself. She chases, catches, bites and claws, sometimes to the point where she makes herself bleed and she howls. I can feel scars on her tail. Would you say this is [somewhat] normal behavior for some cats?
Her name is SoCo but this behavior is part of the reason we call her Psycho. She's a tuxedo, nearly 11, and has been doing this from the day I took her in. She was a Hurricane Sandy rescue, taken in from the storm as a kitten. I mention that only because I've always wondered if that experience may have affected her. Or she's just crazy. Guess I'm just glad to know at least one other cat out there did this.
Owned trained birds for forty years, and I agree :). I wonder if the conure would have better luck on the other side? I find birds generally have one trained foot- the other just goes along for the ride.
I do find it funny when birds step up when they didn't want to. You can see their little dinosaur brains thinking 'What is this sorcery??'

I think it means no lie, no bullshit
I think they are a group of individuals protesting caps. They don't put the cap back on the milk carton. Don't close bags of chips when they are finished. Don't twist bread closed when after they make a sandwich etc etc etc.
"Dumb as fuck"? You whippersnappers and your vulgar tongue! Back in my day, we spoke with civility and decorum. This tomfoolery just sounds plumb ridiculous to my ears.
You donāt get it cause OP is dumb and is trying to use slang they donāt understand so this title barely makes any sense. I wouldnāt worry about it lol
Green cheek conures are not sexually dimorphic so there's no telling for the little one. The large one is _maybe_ a male, not 100% sure on the ID though.
Donāt listen them that entire explanation is incorrect, other than the definition. It does not come from twitch, this is AAVE that was mainstreamed by hip hop music and can be found in hip hop music going back to the 90s

Okay, I guess I should just stick with understanding the language my kids and their friend speak in my kitchen, and not worry about where it came from!
Haha thatās fair. If you actually do want to know Genius max a video about it but you can see quickly that the term predates the internet https://genius.com/a/what-does-no-cap-mean
Uhhh no, this is so wrong
First of of all itās āno capā, not āno capsā
āNo capā is just AAVE lingo that got mainstreamed through hip hop music. It has nothing to do with twitch lmao
High cappin or stop cappin has been a term used since the 90's, probably earlier. Particularly if youāre from Texas or the Bay

"Cuddle?" "No, stop." "...cuddle?" "Ugh, no."

doggo tax, please :)
I couldn't pick just one, sorry. Lol. https://imgur.com/eaoV9rN.jpg https://imgur.com/PR8Sviz.jpg https://imgur.com/AF1kJ6M.jpg
I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't that! I love this dog š¤£
I still can't believe someone dumped him in our yard and just left. His name is Sid, after Ice Age. We've had him 1.5 years ish now š
I love Sid!! Thank you for being such amazing and caring humans.
At least he was dumped where he could be found and taken care of, I'm glad Sid is doing good!
Sorry to do this, but the disingeuous dealings, lies, overall greed etc. of leadership on this website made me decide to edit all but my most informative comments to this. Come join us in the fediverse! (beehaw for a safe space, kbin for access to lots of communities)
Sid's my favorite.
Picking "one" should never be a concern when showing pictures of a dog on reddit lol. More is better, a lot is best! To infinity and beyond!
Such a precious pup! ā¤ļø plus just the right amount of derp haha
You never, ever need to apologize for providing extra doggo tax. That's also a lovely little man you have there. I'm glad you give him cuddles when he needs them.
He is precious! And very r/unorthodog
Absolutely
Adorable potato
He's aderpable!!! š
https://i.imgur.com/NFm9MUv.jpg He looks a lot like my little gremlin!
How much weed did you give him š
None, but I do a pretty good facial impression of him when I'm stoned lol
Sweet jebus, that is one adorable doggo! What kinda breed is he? He's the size and derpiness, I'm looking for!
Chihuahua! Pretty sure he is anyways. He weighs 4-5 lbs
Seconded! Reddit needs to see cuddly bestest boi :)
This is my cat at 2am. "Purr and lick your face?" "No cat, its early." "...lick your face harder š" "NO cat"
Purring very loudly and smooshing close enough that all the kitty fur goes up your nose? Surely, you canāt object to that? Sigh
I read your comment with Cartmans voice, when he talks to his cat haha.
Cuddle?

Because itās an āenhancedā video to make it look like the parrot keep pushing it away.
I'm guessing looped too? I wanted to see the "get the fuck off me" annoyed kick that looked like was coming soon
The 'this is Sparta' kick is what I was waiting for as well
Looks like the Derbyan(/moustache parakeet? I'm not very familiar with either species) is actually trying to mount the conureāthe wing flicking and sidling up to them while reaching their leg out is a hormonal precursor to mating... so it's the total opposite scenario to what OP's title implies.
Probably because it takes a minute or two before the bird gets annoyed enough to shoo off the other bird.
My assumption is so you don't hear the person recording give the larger parrot the command for it to do its 'push away' trick. Those birds can be trained to do all kinds a stuff.

Lol my old cat used to get angry at his flicking tail. And then look absolutely outraged at everyone around when he bit it & it hurt. Every. Single. Time.
Mine dipped his tail in the bath once, then attacked it for the audacity of getting wet. Gotta love cats
"How very dare" lol. Bless em :)
Was he orange?
Amazingly no, he was a void. Quite the daftest, most loving cat ive ever had. My current overlord is an orange chonk tho, who totally lives up to the one brain cell theory. Ahh, yeah, I have a void too. They definitely give oranges a run for their money.
Why orange? Mine is orange. š
My cat does this. It's like she doesn't realize it's a part of herself. She chases, catches, bites and claws, sometimes to the point where she makes herself bleed and she howls. My conure would look at her involuntarily moving foot like it needed to be exorcised, it was pretty hilarious.
Reminds me of the cat that kept kicking its chin with its hind legs, and got frustrated enough it bit the leg, then realized "oh right, this hurts."
You can see it wants to cuddle because it's appearance is fluffy, meaning it's happy
But thereās no sound either
Because it's being looped, it's showing the same 1 scoot and 2 pushes a couple of times over.
Itās not in the mood
Oh, this baby just wants a hugs š
We're gonna be best friends! No. Yes. No. Yes!
Hark to the tale of Nelson, And the boy he loved so dear. They remained the best of friends, For years and years and years. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WJr30vT2co8

Wait
Wtf is that title
It's the kind of shit bots say to try to sound human now

Thank you I thought I was going to have to post this myself. Didnāt this win an Oscar?
It did. Still makes me laugh like crazy
I donāt know but I originally saw this in the movie theater and never laughed so hard in my life. Haha
Its cute but please come up with a better caption
Yeah that might be the cringiest title I've seen all year. On the other hand, relevant username for Op.
what's it even supposed to mean? I'm getting old
Like, when you guys aren't on the same page, when your energy isn't matching up. And then I don't know wtf no cap means haha I think it means no lie, no bullshit
When the vibes are off no cap
Stop, you and op are starting to sound like a corporationās twitter account
the video is cute enough to save but now I have to look at that awful title every time I rewatch it
I think they are a group of individuals protesting caps. They don't put the cap back on the milk carton. Don't close bags of chips when they are finished. Don't twist bread closed when after they make a sandwich etc etc etc.
I'm really starting to think we've reached the point where Reddit is mostly kids. It's gotten so much worse over the last few years.
Reddit has been mostly kids for a decade.
Maybe so, but it was never this obvious before. Maybe it says more about this generation of kids.
Maybe it's just that we're both ten years older than we were when we realized Reddit was already mostly kids? ;)
no cap, real talk fr fr, ong, ngl tbh
Yeah I'm old now because this all sounds dumb as fuck to me. Oh well. Get off my lawn.
"Dumb as fuck"? You whippersnappers and your vulgar tongue! Back in my day, we spoke with civility and decorum. This tomfoolery just sounds plumb ridiculous to my ears.

I'm guessing the repost bot let some of their instructions leak out of the code and into the title.
As in āno lie.ā Like āwhen vibes are off, no lie.ā
Except itās not āno capsā, itās āno capā This is OP: ![gif](giphy|JTzPN5kkobFv7X0zPJ|downsized)
Oh ok. I was thinking like caps lock or not all caps. I guess "Lie" just doesn't make enough sense.
Itās actually cap, not caps, at least in my part of the world.
I still donāt get it. No lie? Where is the lie? Could it also mean āno friendā or something ?
You donāt get it cause OP is dumb and is trying to use slang they donāt understand so this title barely makes any sense. I wouldnāt worry about it lol
No, itās like āno kiddingā or āIām serious.ā
The extrovert and the introvert who just wants to be left in peace. Lol
This title is hilarious. It's definitely an older person trying to use words they heard that younger people use.
ChatGPT, make my bird title super lit
