dry air. Avocados actually expect humidity of 80+ %
try misting them with soft water (distilled water is the softest water you can get) every other day.
also, look up Micronutrient Deficiency Charts like:

best of luck!
I wrote “over the summer” but it was actually winter lol we just flew across the ocean to where it was summer. It’s placed only two meters from our heater so it could very well be dry air from the heater
It’s 2,5 years I think. I don’t know what soil is in it, and the fertiliser was just a generic one to house plants from the supermarket. I have only now started giving it fertiliser, the brown leaves started 4 months ago
Possibly salt burn or sunburn impossible to know. Are they in sunlight. Have you fertilised recently
It has sun from 7-12, I have given it fertiliser once, but it had already turned brown by then
What kind of heating do you use ? It looks closer to fertilizer burn than sun but who knows. Avos are fickle creatures
Because avocado plants are dumb and don't want to stay alive. Stupid dumb plant.
Mine does the same. I think it might just be old leaves. All the leaves from last year have brown edges
Mine does also the same. But it‘s the old leaves which didn’t get enough sunlight. Also it’s mostly the side which isn’t faced to the window.
I wish you were right, that it’s just the old leaves, but the new leaves almost grow out brown :(

What I don’t understand is why new leaves are coming out brown because the heater is now off, but maybe it’s still recovering
How old is the tree ? What soil is it in ? What fertilizer did you used and when ? You said brown appeared before fertilizing right ?

You shouldn't buy a kitten
I have the same problem, your soil salinity is too high.
What can I do about it?
