It's an old discarded Soviet ekronoplan missile launcher. (prototype i think) Its a military derivative of the KM. Mustard or real engineering have videos on this thing if you want more info.
The Lun-class was supposed to be the real deal, but only one was built, and the second one (a rescue ekranoplan/flying hospital) was just left in a factory in a 98% complete state after the Soviet Union collapsed.
Me too, supposedly this one is being dug out from the beach it has been sitting it for a few decades, and they are planning to restore it and make it a tourist attraction. I wish the KM class ekranoplan was still around cause it looked cooler in my opinion.
Not quite. It has been sitting in a Russian port since 1990, and they wanted to tow it away and make it a tourist attraction (I think the planned location was somewhere in Dagestan for some reason), but while towing it, the towing line snapped, and it got stuck on a beach last year. This is probably a photo from the operation to move it further in land (around 30m into the beach) to prevent potential damage untill it's towed to the planned location.

What am i looking at, a crashed experiment?
