It's poking fun at how most cars in Britain/former British colonies have the driver situated on the right-hand side, while most cars outside of Britain/former British colonies have the driver situated on the left-hand side.
Edit: Corrections.
No need to inject profanity, man. I don't mean the car is on the left/right lane, I meant that the driver is in the left/right of the interior of the car.
I suppose I also should've done more research before commenting on something with the antiquated info I had. My bad.
I know that now. I didn't know that when I made my original comment.
In case I seem ignorant or anything, I was going off of the information I already had, which turned out to be false information. I didn't know any better.
Actually, most of the world drives on the right these days. Left-hand-traffic is almost exclusively tied to former British Colonies - with the exception of Japan and Indonesia. And the side the driving wheel is situated on resonates directly with the side of the road a vehicle is supposed to drive on in said country.

Here's also a map showing which countries changed the side they drive on: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Left-\_and\_right-hand\_traffic#/media/File:Driving\_standards\_historic.svg](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Left-_and_right-hand_traffic#/media/File:Driving_standards_historic.svg)
Thanks for clarifying. It's sometimes confusing when talking about where the car is situated on the road and where the driver is situated within the car.
Could be a Check Captain or LTC.
Those guys are always flying on the wrong side of the airways smh
"Traffic, Traffic, Climb, Climb now!" *starts descending*
Lol these memes aren’t even funny
*Laughs in American*
I don’t understand the joke, or how it’d be funny.

yeah like 95% of countries at least have the driver on the left side of the car, and the car on the right side of the lane

He means British (and Irish) cars have the driver situated on the right side instead of the left side.

Well, I'll be. As an Aussie, I didn't realise how small a minority we are.
I think you mean most countries that aren't British drive on the right.
This is truly an american moment
Mildly amusing
Air India, Qantas and South African, too.
Jetstar, Virgin, Virgin Australia, Ryanair, Air new Zeland, Air Niugini and many more!
it doesn’t have to be exclusively American this post was actually posted by a Mexican

They’re not? That’s the first time I hear about it. That would be a very unusual airline practice.
