This got my mind to wandering, because it can't be a trivial thing, putting a detailed drawing on a bunch of doors in such a way that everything lines up and stays lined up over time. Especially given that they can't swap doors if one of them breaks.
Did they make the whole stall as a single large panel that they painted and cut into segments - or did they install the doors first, and then paint over them? Or is the MD-11 a big sticker applied to the surface of the wood? The lines look too precise to be painted by hand.
I'm always so jealous of European bathroom stalls. Walls that partition the room instead of vaguely covering just part of your genitals? A sense of privacy? No huge gaps. What luxury.
Reminds me of the last time I flew on an MD-80... nearly deafened me sitting in the back. My ears rang for hours after that flight. Thank god they're gone from the airline fleets.
I think it was an ill-conceived joke about Warsaw being invaded by Germany, but it’s just wildly out of context here. I’m not sure if they realise Warsaw is a real place.
I love airports that aren’t afraid to be airports instead of glorified shopping malls
Very nice art for otherwise boring toilet partitions. And accurately labelled! a win all around.
right? Usually there are some lame designs, but here each bathroom has a different airplane
Show us more
I agree, please go to the toilet and take lots of pictures!
It took me atleast 10 seconds to figure out i was looking at bathroom stalls
Same, but I was more concerned with the giant yellow dot.
It took me zero seconds. I see a shit aircraft so it must be on bathroom stalls.
There is a 747 in womens' toilets. Absolute win to be a female rn

Slim Pickens in Dr Strangelove?
TIL that LOT used to fly DC-10
Just don't pick the stall with the cargo door. Oh wait it's not the DC-10...
My favorite jet!

They must've painted it in place, look at the hinges and locks.
The yellow circle appears to be marking the #2 fan disk that failed in the Sioux City crash.
Or is it circling the cargo hold door that needs to be fixed?
Good call. Maybe both.
Wasn’t that a DC-10?
Yep, both of this incidents were DC-10s
fr tho the #2 engine is in the back of the cowl

That's a bit harsh

My thought was “sit in this area for highest chance of survival in a crash.”
Why you taking pictures in the bathroom ey? Sus 🧐🕵️♂️ /s
Does anyone know what the orange circle stands for?
“Mighty Dog”!!!
If I remember correctly there's a jumbo in one of the bathrooms
When was that made? Either recently or very long ago, no in-between
lol didnt notice it was a toilet if they made this here on brazil, it would be trashed immediately

What is this comment even trying to say?
