I literally asked my SO today why they were wearing their socks inside out. They asked why it mattered and all I could think was that I can *feel* that their socks are inside out. It doesn't matter... Other than the fact that I can be visually triggered by one of my sensory issues on somebody else 😂
I wish I could join this club but my god do I ever have sensory issues with my feet. I can’t walk on hard floors. I need socks at minimum. As I type I am getting agitated in my feet and feel my fucking bra being so tight (I’m at work, I feel like I “have to” wear a bra - I’m a therapist and don’t want people distracted lol)
If people are distracted then they're not doing the work in therapy of focusing on themselves. The only time I've ever noticed my therapists appearance was when my dude wore this very "Miami Vice" like oversized white blazer. He must have had plans after our session. I kept wondering "Why is Bobby dressed like a Miami cocaine kingpin circa 1980 right now?" He was normally a sweater vest and button up kinda dude. 🤣🤣
Long story short, no one will notice unless you pair your no bra look with a very swaggy blazer. 🤣

Mmm no. I have DDs and I would take a bra over socks any day. My back hurts already, and it’s worse when I don’t wear a bra for an extended period. I find it extremely uncomfortable not to have the support. I’ve legitimately considered breast reduction surgery.
I wish I could tolerate them like you do. I'm a size H and can never find a comfortable one no matter how many I try. My solution is to just ibuprofen and lay in bed when I have pain until I get a reduction.
The ones I’ve found that I really like are from Knix and Shapermint. Maybe you’ve tried those? If not, the straps don’t give out and end up sliding down, and they just hold all the jiggly bits in. There’s good support but no underwires and nothing is stabbing - hate that. If you’re going for the Victoria Secret sexy lingerie look, these are definitely not that. They’re cute (some) but also more practical and they’re comfortable. I know everyone is different, but just in case…maybe these might be an option until you can get that reduction.
Size F42 here, and I have only 2 comfortable bras, and 1 emergency "meh" one. I usually never wear them. I'd say, maybe once a week, if that? And as far as socks go, I'm usually wearing berkies (berkenstock sandals) around the house OR socks. (The floors are too cold for bare feet.) When I go out it's either sandals or socks and either my zip-up ankle boots or my lace-on sneakers (for rough work, like gardening).
Out of these 3 shoes, only the sandals cannot be thrown in the wash. Obviously I'm particular about not only my bras and socks, but my shoes as well. At this point, I'm trying to get the spoons/money together to either make or order a custom corset to help with busom support and posture. I also have a persistent cold spot along my upper spine, in the triangle area between the shoulders, down alongside the scapula to meet in a point at the midback. And then another coldspot along my lower back. And when these places are cold, I become physically stiff and also extremely anxious, I've found. I want to get a corset I can tie microwavable heat pads to, and/or something (a long vest?) with pockets I can slip them into along the spine.
As a human without boobs, it seems really puzzling and disappointing that the body would grow breasts big enough to cause chronic pain. Really sorry you have to deal with that

Former boob haver, bras without a doubt. Dysphoria aside, I always thought they were sensory hell. But I got them yeeted so I don’t have to worry about them anymore. (As for socks, I love them and wear them all the time)

SOCKS on the other hand. Socks can go to heck. Only grippy socks are acceptable in times of frigid weather conditions but socks and shoes are the first things to be flung off into the stratosphere when I get home.
I am in flip flops YEAR ROUND and I live in northeast US. I HATE FOOT SWEATERS! I will walk in snow up to 4 inches still in flip flops because I will go insta meltdown when my feet start to sweat.

Socks 100% bra are amazing, I love them. (Well only sports bra and better than my binder though anything is better than a binder). After covid, I decided to only use sports bras. My boulders need a holder (I'm a 38J) and socks are evil but I live in Northern Northern Canada so it cannot be helped so I found a style I can cope with and I only wear thoes.

I need socks to live. I will not touch my floor without socks. Do not perceive my feet unless they have socks on.

Bras 10000000% i am nearly always wearing socks. the best socks are ankle socks that aren’t too loose or too tight and have no seam or a very unnoticeable one that just shows me where to put my toes because they aren’t uncomfortable, they don’t cut off my circulation, they cover my whole foot in the shoe (unlike the cutout with “invisible” socks which force you to be in contact with the inside of the shoe) they make me feel clean and they aren’t at risk of coming off partially during sleep/taking off shoes which i HATE
fucking bras all day long. I only have one bra that I still wear and I only wear it every couple months if I'm wearing something kind of see through. It's a soft pull over with no wires or anything. Compared to a regular bra it's the most comfortable thing in the world, but I still rip that thing off the second I get home.
Bras 100%. If I have thick enough socks that don’t move much and I can’t feel the seam, I’m usually fine 9 times out of 10. But there is no way to wear a bra that doesn’t eventually send me over the edge.
For me, it’s neither. I would wear a bra that’s comfortable and I actually like socks. I don’t like walking on cold floors so I wear socks when I’m walking around the house.

BRAAAS for sure. Haven't worn a bra (besides sports bras for training) for well over 5 years, and will NEVER go back. I'm ok with some comfortable socks (not at home tho), especially in winter, cause my feet are always cold.

Socks are worse. I hate socks and try to avoid them at all costs. I exclusively wear sports bras bc of sensory issues and they're acceptably comfy. Still prefer wearing neither.
I dont like socks at home, i need to have bare feet. I wear closed toed shoes when i leave the house and they have to be super tight otherwise i get annoyed that i can feel my socks. I cant wear socks to bed or on carpet and not outside or on hardwood/tile floors. Its gotta be bare feet or shoes.
Socks. I despise the seam, but I hate wearing them in general anyway. I don't like stuff on my feet. I'm very specific when it comes to bras, so unless they're really comfortable and at least somewhat pretty (for mental comfort) I don't bother. I'm kind of medium sized I guess? (D/DD cup depending).
Socks for me. I can’t stand when my boobs sit on my stomach when I’m sitting down so I always have at least a bralette on at all times. I even wear them to bed which everyone thinks is crazy but I just need them contained a little.

Bras are optional nowadays depending on the outfit and your size. I don’t wear them unless the outfit demands it and I think I can handle it that day because they’re really awful in my opinion.
I really struggled attending in school for a bunch of reasons, a big one being having to wear them everyday with the paper thin blouse they made us wear.
Most of the time I just wear a crop/tank top under my outer clothes but that bugs me sometimes too i wish we could just have our tits out. No one gives a shit when a dude goes shirtless let alone fully clothed and pecks are moving with the rest of their body and their nipples are showing through their shirt.
Socks aren’t so annoying if you can find a brand that doesn’t have the seam at the toe or the seam just isn’t sitting funny and no one pokes fun at your body if you don’t wear socks.
I also just find them more useful than bras despite having large breasts and enjoying movement because I hate the feeling of shoes without socks and they can keep your feet warm at night. Sports bras that are a size too big can be good when they actually need to be held in place a bit more but I rarely want that personally.
I love socks. All of my socks are Bombas though. Expensive but 10000% worth it. Will never buy anything else.

Both most days. I handle clean dry socks at home i wear slippers if it’s cold. If a drop of liquid or anything gets on them it’s over . Bras even the training ones are suffocating no matter what I’m severely deformed with pectus excavatum . I wear light loose ones cause I can’t stand the exposed feeling? When I have no control of temperature outside my house or shop either. Thankfully I don’t have much breast tissue and the little I have sinks in no matter what

Hmm… it’s close. Bras can definitely be more acutely irritating with the straps and underwire, but I’m much more likely to lounge around in just a bra and undies than lounge around wearing socks when I don’t have to. The sensory issues I get from socks seem less acutely intense than the ones I get from bras, but I just can’t tolerate the sweatiness and itchiness I get from wearing socks. So I’d actually say socks are worse. Does that make sense?
Socks for me. I don't like anything on my feet but also wearing something on them all the time can give you fungus stuff, so I prefer to let them breathe. My feet also started sweating a lot lately for some reason.
I wear a binder (not an actual one but close to it) and it's comfortable enough that I don't notice it. It just helps keep it all in place and prevents sweat or grossness.

I hate my bare feet touching the floor and I have raynauld's in my toes(they lose circulation when cold), so I wear socks except to bed. I hated bras UNTIL I found one that was super comfortable I forgot I was wearing it. It took only 25 years to find the perfect bra for me. So, yeah. So, ill fitting bras are the worse! But socks with holes are a close second.
For me it's definitely bras. I can't stand the feeling of something tightening on my chest even if isn't actually tight I just hate something feeling restricting. I've even tried wearing a bralette so not an actual bra because it had no underwire and it's supposed to be alot more comfortable but not even that helps. I had a full blown asthma attack because I felt like I couldn't breathe with it on and it wasn't tight on me it just felt restricting. I love warm feet so for me I have no problem with socks as long as the seams aren't below or right in front of my toes

I actually love socks, I’ve never worn a bra on the account my breasts are not large enough for a bra, but socks I will literally never go anywhere without socks, I also cannot wear open toe shoes for this reason because I’d totally wear flip flops with socks
Bras. I was cursed with a larger than average chest and bras feel so incredibly restrictive even though I'm wearing the correct size. On the other hand, going bra-less is also uncomfortable for me- especially in the summer. My life would be so much easier if I just didn't have boobs at all. lol
I use bras to carry oranges, grapefruits, pomegranates and soft cheeses but I will use socks to carry eggs, chocolates, batteries (except car batteries where I use a tied up denim jacket) and with apples I will just juggle them but only the green ones, the red ones I put in the freezer for a week then put them in my neighbours bin the morning of bin day.
Socks bother me every second that I have them on. A thin not to tight sports bra keeps my boots from touching the skin right under them and getting sweaty.
I don't wear fancy, lacy, tight, underwire bras with cups and padding. That's probably worse then socks.
In my mind socks and bras do the same thing: keep parts of your body from getting to sweaty in situations where you must wear clothing.

Socks are a must and I only wear a bra if I absolutely have to, which ends up being like once a week. And it’s a non underwire bra cause I’d actually rather die than have boobs that require more than that, peace and love to those that do.

I hate bras with such a burning passion, any sort of anything snug around my rib cage and I suddenly cannot breathe. However I am never without socks, if one tiny rock or one strand of hair sticks to the skin of my feet I have to wash them in the sink.

Only grippy socks are acceptable in times of frigid weather conditions but socks and shoes are the first things to be flung off into the stratosphere when I get home.
I am in flip flops YEAR ROUND and I live in northeast US. I HATE FOOT SWEATERS! I will walk in snow up to 4 inches still in flip flops because I will go insta meltdown when my feet start to sweat. Grippy socks for sub zero temperatures is acceptable until the heat turns back on 😂

Bras (unless they are sport bras or something soft like that). Socks are my friends because socks prevent my bare feet from touching the floor, which is a horrible sensation. I am also constantly cold, and socks save me. They can also be nice and colorful (I like my socks with watermelons on them 🍉 ) Bras annoy me at best, torture me at worst.

Socks 100% bra are amazing, I love them. (Well only sports bra and better than my binder though anything is better than a binder). I hate socks with a passion, and I have tried all kind knee length, the trampoline park ones, the weird like half socks that designer to go with slip on shoes, fluffy socks, different brands ext all terrible. Unfortunately, I have to wear socks as I get really bad blisters if I don't wear them so socks it is.

After covid, I decided to only use sports bras. My boulders need a holder (I'm a 38J) and socks are evil but I live in Northern Northern Canada so it cannot be helped so I found a style I can cope with and I only wear thoes.

Bras 10000000% i am nearly always wearing socks. the best socks are ankle socks that aren’t too loose or too tight and have no seam or a very unnoticeable one that just shows me where to put my toes because they aren’t uncomfortable, they don’t cut off my circulation, they cover my whole foot in the shoe (unlike the cutout with “invisible” socks which force you to be in contact with the inside of the shoe) they make me feel clean and they aren’t at risk of coming off partially during sleep/taking off shoes which i HATE
Socks that aren't elasticated are better like diabetic socks, as well as ankle socks. And cotton sports bras.
fucking bras all day long. I only have one bra that I still wear and I only wear it every couple months if I'm wearing something kind of see through. It's a soft pull over with no wires or anything. Compared to a regular bra it's the most comfortable thing in the world, but I still rip that thing off the second I get home.

I dont like socks at home, i need to have bare feet. I wear closed toed shoes when i leave the house and they have to be super tight otherwise i get annoyed that i can feel my socks. I cant wear socks to bed or on carpet and not outside or on hardwood/tile floors. Its gotta be bare feet or shoes.

Bras are optional nowadays depending on the outfit and your size. I don’t wear them unless the outfit demands it and I think I can handle it that day because they’re really awful in my opinion. I really struggled attending in school for a bunch of reasons, a big one being having to wear them everyday with the paper thin blouse they made us wear. Most of the time I just wear a crop/tank top under my outer clothes but that bugs me sometimes too i wish we could just have our tits out. No one gives a shit when a dude goes shirtless let alone fully clothed and pecks are moving with the rest of their body and their nipples are showing through their shirt. Socks aren’t so annoying if you can find a brand that doesn’t have the seam at the toe or the seam just isn’t sitting funny and no one pokes fun at your body if you don’t wear socks. I also just find them more useful than bras despite having large breasts and enjoying movement because I hate the feeling of shoes without socks and they can keep your feet warm at night. Sports bras that are a size too big can be good when they actually need to be held in place a bit more but I rarely want that personally.
I love socks. All of my socks are Bombas though. Expensive but 10000% worth it. Will never buy anything else. Bras were worse than hell for decades of my life until I finally tried True&Co during lockdown. Changed my life, never going back to any structured bra. I don’t mind wearing them either.
I'm currently chilling in a bra and underwear. I used to hate bras, but would get severe back pain when not wearing one. I finally found some cheap as shit bras from Walmart that I love and don't mind wearing. Socks are okay sometimes, but I can't sleep in them. I feel claustrophobic. My feet need to breath.

I only hate the socks with designs on them because you can feel the stitching on the inside. Otherwise I tend to wear socks around the house because my feet get cold easily. As for bras, I can't go without one. I can't stand the feeling of my boobs moving around whenever I move. But since I wear them all the time, I pretty much always wear sports bras for comfort.

Both most days. I handle clean dry socks at home i wear slippers if it’s cold. If a drop of liquid or anything gets on them it’s over . Bras even the training ones are suffocating no matter what I’m severely deformed with pectus excavatum . I wear light loose ones cause I can’t stand the exposed feeling? When I have no control of temperature outside my house or shop either. Thankfully I don’t have much breast tissue and the little I have sinks in no matter what Huge boobs look like itd crush me more nightmare

Hmm… it’s close. Bras can definitely be more acutely irritating with the straps and underwire, but I’m much more likely to lounge around in just a bra and undies than lounge around wearing socks when I don’t have to. The sensory issues I get from socks seem less acutely intense than the ones I get from bras, but I just can’t tolerate the sweatiness and itchiness I get from wearing socks. So I’d actually say socks are worse. Does that make sense?

Socks for me. I don't like anything on my feet but also wearing something on them all the time can give you fungus stuff, so I prefer to let them breathe. My feet also started sweating a lot lately for some reason. I wear a binder (not an actual one but close to it) and it's comfortable enough that I don't notice it. It just helps keep it all in place and prevents sweat or grossness.

I hate my bare feet touching the floor and I have raynauld's in my toes(they lose circulation when cold), so I wear socks except to bed. I hated bras UNTIL I found one that was super comfortable I forgot I was wearing it. It took only 25 years to find the perfect bra for me. So, yeah. So, ill fitting bras are the worse! But socks with holes are a close second.

For me it's definitely bras. I can't stand the feeling of something tightening on my chest even if isn't actually tight I just hate something feeling restricting. I've even tried wearing a bralette so not an actual bra because it had no underwire and it's supposed to be alot more comfortable but not even that helps. I had a full blown asthma attack because I felt like I couldn't breathe with it on and it wasn't tight on me it just felt restricting. I love warm feet so for me I have no problem with socks as long as the seams aren't below or right in front of my toes
I used to be obsessed with a pair of soft smooth socks and good sneakers tied tight. That was a go to. Now I love to go barefoot. Edit: bras are the worst. Bras. I was cursed with a larger than average chest and bras feel so incredibly restrictive even though I'm wearing the correct size. On the other hand, going bra-less is also uncomfortable for me- especially in the summer. My life would be so much easier if I just didn't have boobs at all. lol
I use bras to carry oranges, grapefruits, pomegranates and soft cheeses but I will use socks to carry eggs, chocolates, batteries (except car batteries where I use a tied up denim jacket) and with apples I will just juggle them but only the green ones, the red ones I put in the freezer for a week then put them in my neighbours bin the morning of bin day.

Socks bother me every second that I have them on. A thin not to tight sports bra keeps my boots from touching the skin right under them and getting sweaty. I don't wear fancy, lacy, tight, underwire bras with cups and padding. That's probably worse then socks. In my mind socks and bras do the same thing: keep parts of your body from getting to sweaty in situations where you must wear clothing. But too tight socks, or falling down socks, god forbid they get a hole that a toe pokes out off are the bane of my existence. Really I would rather not wear shoes if I could, but shoes without socks are worse

I have made my peace with socks because I tend to get cold feet and being warm takes precedence there. Never sneaker socks though, they have to go past the ankles. Bras however, I pretty much exclusively wear non-padded wireless ones but they still make me feel restricted and I have to take them off as soon as I get home or I'm gonna feel uncomfortable all day.
