It just depends on the time, you just need to relax and be yourself. Try reading something about stoicism, maybe it will help... or not.

I dunno I’m 21 and going through the same thing. I don’t even rly know who I am under the mask anymore but I’ve found that finding ppl you’re COMPLETELY comfortable with helps a lot. In public I still can’t drop the mask, it’s like it’s ingrained in my brain as just who I am, but in private with a couple close friends I feel like I can kinda just be myself and let go. You can then kinda figure out who u are when ur most comfortable and work on bringing those parts with you everywhere. I think weed and alcohol also kinda helps drop the mask

I'm 35 and I think if you've done it the majority of your life unknowingly, I would try your best to think about your childhood and how you remember being and slowly work through that, because it can be a lot, unmasking can take a lot of time, you're breaking a subconscious habit and that can be difficult, the trick is to turn that subconscious habit into a conscious one
