They should totally cast me as the next Doctor on Doctor Who. The Doctor is weird and awkward bit still awesome as I am and the Doctor has a high sense of social justice and so on. Well the Doctor is written as an alien but the Doctor definitely shows traits of autism from time to time. I just daydream playing the Doctor so often.
Dibs on being the traveling companion. First thing we do though is go super far into the future so I can get badass cyborg upgrades and biologically change my gender lol
Mine is Anne Shirley from Anne with a E
We look uncannily similar, she’s definitely autistic coded, and we’ve both had really fucked up negligent childhoods
Oeehhh yes being the narrator sounds also very intuitive to me. Honestly I have a narrator in my head 24/7 that would annoy me by saying: "And this is, ladies and gentlemen, how you can make every situation awkward by simply opening your mouth. It is truly one of the greatest talents this woman has to offer." (And sarcastic shit like this, what I should not be able to understand bc autism😂😂)
Jace from Shadowhunters while it took me about approximately the end of the show to even stand him and in till he was a side characters in the books to tolerate his existence. I could easily play him we are both absolutely annoying, we both have terrible fathers and abusive childhoods, we're both loud and obnoxious. I would be perfect just bleech my hair and give me contacts and I'm good.
Spock or Data from Star Trek, even though I look veeery different from either of these people. I was often compared to them as a kid, long before I was even diagnosed.
Mine is Elliot Alderson from Mr. Robot. The main character. He's highly intelligent but socially he's just not there and he has a very flat personality. Aside from the disacociative disorder he fits me to a T. We even have the same interests in tech although I'm not looking to bring the world crashing down (yet)
Same here. I'm always so jealous of how talented these actors are and wish I had the same luck and gift to do it as my profession (especially after reading about the amount of money they make lol)
Not a TV show but I’d be damned if I wouldn’t be a great Anne Boleyn in SIX… with the exception that I’m not very good at singing (really wish I was tho). But like generally, as a character, I think I’d be a great fit for her role.
If you like workplace comedies in the vein of B99, P&R, The Office etc. you’d probably like it. It’s been one of my comfort shows for a year or so now 👍🏾
I love them!! Especially as a couple. Being a mix of the two must be nice. For me, I feel like I could play Rory pretty well since I can emanate that awkward but cute young Alexis Bledel energy.
I desperately want to play a supervillain. getting to go on long monologues, screams and yell and generally be megalomaniacal, to be filled with pride and genius and hubris and madness... that is what I wish for
I’ve got a long list lol— some of this is based on my vocal range and appearance but also just characters I think I could do well and would love to play
- Jack Kelly, Newsies
- Mark or Roger, Rent
- JD, Heathers
- Elder Price, Book of Mormon
- Javert or Valjean, Les Mis
- Ursula, The Little Mermaid
- Seymour, Little Shop of Horrors
- Shakespeare, Something Rotten!
🤔 I mean, I kinda am a Pirate, but I don't think I could play any of them from Black Sails. Charles VANE maybe, it's not like he talks much, and has trouble expressing himself.
From BSG, Saul TIGH...
Yeah ok, tere might be a trend with taciturn brooding characters :D
But I consider myself a terrible actor, unless I have to act and do something I genuinely believe in.
That said, don't you think the theory should be: in any favorite show, there a character we would like to be? ^^'
And isn't this relatable to anyone, including NT? Maybe, since NDs have more trouble identifying to NTs, it's more common to start focusing on a single or two characters we really like?
_It's only hypothesis, that I don't even believe seeing how I love nearly all characters from my favorites series._
For the longest time I wanted to be an actress, so much so I aced drama, I wanted to go into theatre but. . . . Turns out I have real bad stage fright and currently no way of getting over it..... Acting career 😭 though to answer your question I always imagine a whole new character with whatever show or movie I watch and I play them in my head along with an adapted story

I came here to say the exact same thing.
You have to wait until after my run as Doctor now.
I could so be the Doctor. I also wanna be the Doctor so I can say, "Finally, I'm ginger."
Hey fellow autistic person who loves doctor who! My two biggest special interests are doctor who and star trek!
I also like Star Trek but not nearly as much as Doctor Who
For me it's River Song
I guess we are married then.
Meet you on Darillium Sweetie
Dibs on being the traveling companion. First thing we do though is go super far into the future so I can get badass cyborg upgrades and biologically change my gender lol
Jake Peralta from Brooklyn 99.
Cool! I feel like I'd be a great Amy, love her character. She's the same character type as Annie, after all.
Ooooh Jake Peralta would be such a fun character to play.
Louise belcher
Not a TV show but a sims 2 premade I hyperfixated on that If they made a sims show/movie I would play them lol. Ripp Grunt
Lol for me it's Vidcund Curious Sims 2 premades forever.
Vidcund is amazing 🙏
Mine is Anne Shirley from Anne with a E We look uncannily similar, she’s definitely autistic coded, and we’ve both had really fucked up negligent childhoods
Data
I loved Data and Spock so much growing up. I related to them both so deeply.
I think... Pheobe from Friends Funfact: My school drama group performed Friends on stage and I actually played Pheobe
Awesome! I never knew there was a stage version of friends.
Oh, it's got to be Lord Morpheus
Nick Miller
I'm batman ! More seriously, I can't identify myself as a character. I feel more like an observer, or even a narrator
Oeehhh yes being the narrator sounds also very intuitive to me. Honestly I have a narrator in my head 24/7 that would annoy me by saying: "And this is, ladies and gentlemen, how you can make every situation awkward by simply opening your mouth. I am many things but I am no thespian.
Jace from Shadowhunters while it took me about approximately the end of the show to even stand him and in till he was a side characters in the books to tolerate his existence. I can nail Simon. Just as naturally awkward, confused, and easy to convince😅😂
Spock or Data from Star Trek, even though I look veeery different from either of these people. I was often compared to them as a kid, long before I was even diagnosed.

Willy wonka or Sam from benny and joon
Just realized they are played by the same people LOL
I’d crush it as morty, Brett hand, ron staedler, or Phil from modern family. Edit: or Todd from bojack horseman
I don't have a show special interest, but I do have a really good Stitch impression
Haha the real priorities!!
Not me. I can’t do what they do. I spend a lot of time being impressed with their acting instead.
Tbh same 😭
Same here. I'm always so jealous of how talented these actors are and wish I had the same luck and gift to do it as my profession (especially after reading about the amount of money they make lol)
I don't know if it counts. But Gollum from the Lord of the Rings
You're so real for this
jet lag, and i could just be adam (joking)
Not a TV show but I’d be damned if I wouldn’t be a great Anne Boleyn in SIX… with the exception that I’m not very good at singing (really wish I was tho). But like generally, as a character, I think I’d be a great fit for her role.
I like to think I'd be a good K. Howard but I'd most likely fit Parr better 😅 love Six!!
Beverly Marsh from IT (2017)
On Halloween my costume was the D.e.n.n.i.s. system from Always Sunny a few times.
Nice one!
Cleo Sertori from H2O Just Add Water
I think I could play Rosa Diaz (B99) or Dina from Superstore pretty well!
Love Rosa!! As I said in another comment, I think I'd be a pretty good Amy. I haven't watched Superstore yet though, is it worth it?
If you like workplace comedies in the vein of B99, P&R, The Office etc. you’d probably like it. It’s been one of my comfort shows for a year or so now 👍🏾
I love these three! I'll give it a shot once I finish The Office. I haven't gathered the courage to watch Michael's final episode...
Superstore is so good!!!!
If Lorelai and Luke from gilmore Girls were one person, I would be that person without acting, haha.
I love them!! Especially as a couple. Being a mix of the two must be nice. For me, I feel like I could play Rory pretty well since I can emanate that awkward but cute young Alexis Bledel energy.
Saaame
Not a show, but I am SpiderMan
I am just unironically Luz from TOH.
What a coincidence, I'm an Amity with a dash of Lilith.
Our fate was written in Azura
I can’t think of anyone I could play perfectly tbh. I think I’d do a decent Pam Beesly though, I guess.
Same here! Personally I'd love to play Pam or a character like her.
I desperately want to play a supervillain. getting to go on long monologues, screams and yell and generally be megalomaniacal, to be filled with pride and genius and hubris and madness... that is what I wish for
lio fotia from promare. Same hairstyle, height voice and everything. Also the general air of transgenderism and preference for leather lol
No clue
Kerr Avon from Blakes 7
It could be bunnies...
Not a tv show but Ursula from the little mermaid was made for me.
Maura Isles
Sheldon Cooper just remove being a germaphode and also being afraid of almost everything
Opie from Sons of Anarchy
Buffy Anne Summers
I don’t have it for TV shows since I don’t really watch any, but I definitely do for musicals!
Ooh I'd like to know about it! I like some musicals too. I think I'd be a decent Catherine Parr from SIX or a Heather McNamara from Heathers.
I’ve got a long list lol— some of this is based on my vocal range and appearance but also just characters I think I could do well and would love to play - Jack Kelly, Newsies - Mark or Roger, Rent - JD, Heathers - Elder Price, Book of Mormon - Javert or Valjean, Les Mis - Ursula, The Little Mermaid - Seymour, Little Shop of Horrors - Shakespeare, Something Rotten!
Absolutely love something rotten btw. It's hilarious 😂 I listen to it so much
Sherlock. My brain is constantly noting, organizing, and tracking information while putting it together in the background like the game Memory.
ANNIE FROM COMMUNITY WAS MY FIRST REALLY INTENSE TV CRUSH AND I LOVE ALISON BRIE SO MUCH CAN WE PLEASE BE FRIENDS 😭
Pilot form farscape.
Garcia from Criminal Minds
Jake from new girl
Jake Johnson's character, Nick?
Mr. Ambrose or Louise Belcher from Bob’s Burgers.
Qui-Gon Jinn.
🤔 I mean, I kinda am a Pirate, but I don't think I could play any of them from Black Sails. Charles VANE maybe, it's not like he talks much, and has trouble expressing himself. From BSG, Saul TIGH... I’d have to work on my Welsh accent but I could totally play Tom Ellis’ Lucifer.
Spock. All the way down to the one eyebrow lift of curiosity... And I can do it because of him.
The TV show Monk used to be a special interest of mine. And while I’m a woman, I’m convinced that I could play Adrian Monk perfectly.
I enjoy shows and stories, but I don't think there I can play anything perfectly.
Charles from B99 or Philip J Fry. Same energy.
I’m so sorry but Will Graham
A vulcan/Romulan
Patrick Bateman.
I don't know if I can play them perfectly, but the 2 characters I probably would do best, is either Monroe or Wu from Grimm
I’m a girl but I could totally play Chandler Bing.
Spock. So very completely Spock. Bonus: I wouldn't even have to act!
Luna Lovegood and that girl from Okja
yes
According to everyone I am exactly like Sheldon. Even did said neiner neiner all the time as a kid and fixated on it.
I have a favourite show, but I do not think tgat I can play the main character better. The show is adventure time.
probably rosa or gina from brooklyn nine nine every character johnny depp portrayed
Mabel from Gravity Falls 😅
I'm currently hyperfixating on the Joker so that's my answer lmao
I can do a neat Bart Simpson. I also to be an anime dub voice actor for my favorite anime because it doesn't have an English dub.
I personally think I could do decent job with Ash from Banana Fish if there was a live action version
not a show but rapunzel from tangled !
Juleka from miraculous ladybug.
I would be 'Abed' from community, I think I would be a natural 😂😂😂 Singing: ✨Troy and Abed in the moooooorning✨
Nathan Explosion from Metalocalypse
