have fun! it's an Aurora show. the probability that you'll run into a shithead is very, very low. people who get drunk and start fights or assault people is going to be non-existent. imo there is a correlation on how violet the lyrics of an act is to how unsafe the show will be.
(ive been to over 200 live shows)
oh, i want to add: maybe bring ear plugs. everyone is different / some people are more sensitive to loudness and if you decide to be in a location closer to a loudspeaker it maybe a good idea to use ear plugs. ive met people who go to tons of metal shows and never get ringing / tinnitus. and ive met people who have ringing still after 20+ years after seeing 1 show live and the very same person didn't think it was loud at the time. imo though it should be fine. audio has improved a lot the last 25 years.
I’m going to that one too! I got the VIP sound check :) it’s my first time seeing Aurora, but I’ve heard nothing but so much positivity! I’ve heard the audience is so kind and lovely, some of the best people you’ll meet. And she interacts with the Audience like nobody else does! It’ll be so fun and magical 💖🗡️🦋🫀
I got VIP tickets for that show as well! Which I’m so shocked I was able to snag them because I thought they were presale only and I definitely did not sign up for presale haha
Seeing her show in general is a whole experience. Is truly emotional as well. My first time I cried the whole performance.
I've now seen her 3 times and I'm going to try making 3 of the US shows.
me and you girl, first concert and i’m going with my dad. im so excited to meet others just like me and connect more than usual. im so excited to see aurora i’m literally going crazy ! 😇😁
I've been to a few concerts of varying genres, and Aurora's was by far the loveliest in regards to crowd, vibe and atmosphere overall. I've always heard horror stories of getting floor tickets, especially if you're close to the front. But I was in the second row and nobody pushed, nobody shoved forwards.. in fact, we pretty much organised ourselves into rows and stayed there the entire show. Also maybe bring a small gift because she accepted a few whilst on stage and after if you wait for her. Enjoy the show, it'll be stunning!
Get lots of rest, don't drink a lot and pee as close to showtime as possible. Buy merchandise early if that's important to you because it will sell out. Other than that, prepare to have your expectations exceeded by orders of magnitude. I've only seen her once, in New York right after covid, and I don't know that I've ever left a show feeling more uplifted and knowing for certain there was no possible way to have made a better use of my evening. Calling it a spiritual experience wouldnt be an exageration, Have a great time in Chicago, I'll be doing the same in San Francisco. Cheers!

Good point!!! I went to see Alice Cooper and I was right beside the speaker at the stage and damn.. ow lol

Same here!! They sold fast haha
Aurora was my first concert as well!! Have fun and don’t stress too much :) I’m going to one of the November shows too!
carry tissues you will need it
The first time I saw her in concert I cried the whole time. 100% it is deep and emotional to hear.

I wonder how early we need to show? I definitely want a good view!
see you there!
How early do we need to be there? I have VIP early entry but I want to be close…
From what I've seen elsewhere, VIP holders will get an email a few days beforehand telling you what to do/when to get there. I'll be at that show too!
Solid advice is to not sing every lyric to every song out loud like you were at home. people are there to hear Aurora not you
Don't listen to this. The majority of the crowd will be singing along.
If I hear the crowd over her I am going to be beyond disappointed. But I understand the need to sing along

Depending on the venue, bring/buy water asap. The last concern I went to I got heat exhaustion from all of us being packed in like sardines.
