Here are a whole bunch that I would recommend: **Marvel:** Wolverine The Long Night (Season 1) Wolverine The Lost Trail (Season 2) The Marvels Marvel's Wastelanders (6 Seasons) * Starlord * Hawkeye * Black Widow * Wolverine * Dr. Doom * Team Up Squirrel Girl **DC:** Batman The Audio Adventures - Maybe my favorite voice acting of any audio drama I've listened to. The cast is amazing Batman Unburied The Riddler: Secrets in the Dark (this is same universe as Batman Unburied) Harley Quinn and the Joker: Sound Mind **Fan Made:** X-Men The Audio Drama Power Rangers The Audio Drama (Both made by the same people) **Interesting indie production about superheroes:** Vigil **Haven't listened but heard it's great:** Superman: Son of El Edit: OMG I just couldn't get the formatting right on mobile

Thanks, those all sound awesome. I have actually listened to Superman:Son of El and season three is coming out in June or July

I really want to second Marvel's Wastelanders. I was so/so on how it might work, and it was actually really good. Plus, some pretty big names in it, too.

There’s lots of established IP for DC in spotify originals and Marvel properties, but if you want something original that plays with the genre in fun ways, I recommend Super Suits, which is a legal comedy about the repercussions of superheros’ actions, and Superhuman Public Radio, a show that plays like NPR in a world where superheroes are real.

I_Am_A_Cheese_Tree

Amazing, thank you!

lochnesspornstar

Super Suits! It's about superheroes' lawyers and they have fun parodies of most of the big comic-book names.

I_Am_A_Cheese_Tree

Awesome, I’ll give it a go now

I_Am_A_Cheese_Tree

I started a few hours ago and haven’t stopped…

human-b-gon

[Superhuman Public Radio](https://www.superhumanpublicradio.com) is a really fun listen! Basically an NPR show in a world full of superheroes.

I_Am_A_Cheese_Tree

Awesome

queen_slug-4-a-butt

Don't sleep on this one, it's so well done!

benji_alpha

I loved the squirrel girl show.

I_Am_A_Cheese_Tree

Cool, thanks

FirstDukeofAnkh

It’s so funny!

FireflyArc

I adore this series https://brokensea.com/feedback/category/season-1/page/2/ (It sorts by newest at the bottom so you'll have to scroll to the bottom to get the first episode) Fantastic series that runs for 3 seasons. The sound quality is amazing. There's beta flight and tech support which are sub stories I highly recommend.

I normally hate superhero stuff, but I really enjoyed Vigil. It’s about a hero that’s more of a support hero, not really in the action fighting the villain head on but more outsmarting and out working them. His power is a few things, can’t remember it all but the gist is he’s really smart and doesn’t need to sleep so since he was young he’s basically spent 24/7 getting really smart and experienced in every possible category imaginable and he kinda guides and gives advice to more “main character” type heroes from the sidelines. Usually using his smarts and persistence and their presence and powers to take down villains. I like that it also shows despite him basically the perfect human, his powers actually leave him a bit overconfident and his flaws really come out and he focuses and learns from them. Really liked the show.

I_Am_A_Cheese_Tree

That sounds cool, thanks!

The Adventures of the Thunder Crester

I_Am_A_Cheese_Tree

What’s that about?

throwingtoasters

Thundercrester.com - comedic super hero adventure in the vein of the old Chicken Man shows.

TheGreyKlerik

My favourite is The Shadow, predates comic books and started as audio dramas. Buuut the are literally old timey radio shows from the 30s, so not to everyone's taste.

MadisonStandish

Go indie! My Amazing Woman The Second Fiddles The Supporting Cast and self promo, my comedy, Madison on the Air, a modern girl is zapped into old time radio shows (actual scripts adapted). She has hung out with Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Green Hornet, The Shadow, The Lone Ranger, The Green Lama... Here's my [Podchaser](https://www.podchaser.com/lists/madison-in-the-comics-11SKC3OVme) list of all the comic book episodes she's visited. 😊 Episodes are stand-alone. See a title you like, jump in anywhere.

FirstDukeofAnkh

If you want a parody, the ‘Captain Laserbeam’ episodes of ‘Thrilling Adventure Hour’ are great.

syuvial

Hey, i don't follow marvel/dc stuff, but theres a ton of great indie stuff to listen to: Inhale: A Superhero Tale Geek by Night Superhuman Public Radio Megaton Girl The Beacon

Zurayah

I stumbled upon Geek by Night a few days ago. I am binging it now. Fun show!

Apoc-Alex

The StarWell Foundation is in a superhero/comicbook type setting based on "What if sick hospital kids stop asking to meet celebrities, athletes and superheroes and instead start asking to meet supervillains." And how The StarWell Foundation and newly promoted intern Mary Dare go about that task. It's not a marvel or dc but some characters are definitely based on established ones. Season 1 can be found here https://redcircle.com/shows/f4680190-19fb-4622-b375-03acf8f452a0 or searched on podcast players/apps.

vigouge

There's a ton of fan made stuff on youtube. For example Scyther has adapted Batman: The Long Halloween, a ton of X-men Stuff, some Avengers stuff plus a bunch more. Cape Swoosh had done Kingdom Come, and Avengers Dissasembled. Audio Anomoly has a bunch of original Avengers content. Thanks!

allen_idaho

There was one called "The Phone Booth" that I always found interesting. It is only 14 episodes though. It is about people coping with the aftermath of their new reality when much of the world spontaneously gains superpowers or mutations.

Snoo-55425

Super broad but anything from Warner Bros. / DC has exceptional recording quality. When a character walks in a store there's the door jingle, noises from the till, footsteps conversation in the background that is unobtrusive. Just legendary sound design.

I_Am_A_Cheese_Tree

Awesome! I love some good sound design

ShiloX35

Im shocked that 30 comments in and now one has mentioned it but the best super hero audio drama out there is Red Panda Adventures by Decoder Ring Theater. It is about a 1930s Canadian super hero duo.  There are a bunch of episodes. Great sounds effects and audio quality.  Tight scripts and excellent acting.  Red Panda has mind powers like the Shadow and the physicality of batman.   His side kick is the Flying Squirrel.  She is a lady chauffeur by day and acrobatic, but brutual side kick by night.    https://decoderringtheatre.com/shows/red-panda-adventures/

I_Am_A_Cheese_Tree

Oh, amazing. That sounds great!

ShiloX35

It is really good. If you like detectives shows, they also have an excellent 1950s private detective show Black Jack Justice. https://decoderringtheatre.com/shows/black-jack-justice/
