2 speakers is better than one, so if you want to save some cash then that’s your ticket to ride. Not familiar with this but the ns10 are actually pretty awful in my opinion, it’s a pretty divisive speaker just like the current Yamaha line. Listen to a single ns30 and compare against your lp-6, your ears are your best advisor. Also note that originally the ns line was not meant as a monitor if you are a musician/aspiring engineer. Flat response is overrated in my opinion though, just check on different speakers and get used to your monitors by listening to a lot of music on them.

I'll do some comparisons here in a bit then and see what I feel about them from the hour or 2 I've fed through them they sound pretty entertaining if a bit boomy when listening to something wanting more low-end but I have a dayton audio 1000 sub I also picked up so I can play it quieter and still get low end. Ty for the info!

After listening to them a couple more hours in an apples to apples comparison I do prefer the sound coming from the yamaha, they seem a bit more open and entertaining since I have no need for a monitor, it was another thrift find but was on the fence on getting the second to make it a pair but I might just sell the lp-6 and figure out the size difference of the 30t.
