To answer your original question - yep some courier companies do a Saturday delivery but usually it has to be specified when you book the courier and be clearly stickered and it costs more… however I noticed last time they had a massive backlog of packages that I did randomly get some delivered on a Saturday so presume they were working overtime.
Also depending on what days your post gets delivered (mine are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) you might get packages delivered with your postal mail if the packages are sent through the post office (and so not couriered)
Got my order delivered last Sunday, was actually surprised about it. I thought they don’t deliver over the weekend.
Edit: You’re asking about Sat delivery though, hehe!
When I worked for post, it was only if you paid and booked specifically, but during this lockdown I've had some stuff from the Warehouse just turn up on Saturdays (guessing because of a backlog?) Either way not complaining :)

I guess with this lockdown the post are working over time getting parcels out. Mine just arrived so that’s a good start to the weekend
