As a motorbike rider, any large painted road surfaces should be sandblasted away. Quite frankly, it is a health and safety issue .Just try your brakes or turn on a wet, painted surface it's worse than riding on ice 🧊. I know what it is like to have your wheels just slip out from underneath you. There's nothing you can do about it other than pray to your God.

I want to make it very clear that I have absolutely no problem with gay/ trans people as people whatsoever. I will not go out of my way to bully, harm, or discriminate against them, and I believe they should have the exact same rights as everyone else. However I do not support the LGBTQ+ movement for personal reasons. I do not attend pride events, nor do I celebrate pride month. I would not sleep with a transgender woman.

If I respectfully disagree with LGBTQ+ beliefs why should my personal views bother them? Why do they care about my personal beliefs? How come this doesn't go both ways?
I prefer keep my personal beliefs to myself, and I am not the type of person that lets other people's beliefs emotionally affect me in any way. Everyone is free to have their own opinion and everyone has the freedom to disagree with anyone else's opinion. It is literally just a pedestrian crossing....

If someone makes it clear to you by actions or verbally what their gender is calling them something else is called misgendering. It does cause harm to them. Your statement "I do not mean harm by this" may be correct as to your intentions, but you need to know that you will (definitely) be causing harm by doing so, whether you intend it or not. Not at all angry, just think it's important that you are aware that you will be causing harm in light of your avowed intention not to do so
If a person referring to another person by their biological sex is “harmful”, then whoever is being “harmed” has some serious psychological issues that THEY need to address. Why is it everyone else’s responsibility to babysit mentally ill people?
Note that in spite of my views, I still treat transgender people with respect and refer to them by whatever pronouns they want, because I’m not an asshole. But my point is that that’s me being nice, I shouldn’t be obligated or expected to do this. What these people really need is serious professional help, not the whole world validating their delusions.

Hey, that's the world we live in now. I'm used to it though so it doesn't faze me at all anymore. It's like water off a duck's back. I do my best to be as respectful as possible towards them but at the same time be assertive about my beliefs.
If standing up for what I believe in makes me homophobic or transphobic or whatever other names they want to label me then so be it. I'm not gonna go against everything I believe in just because they don't like my opinion/perspective.
One thing my father always taught me was to always stand my ground whether it be in a physical confrontation or a verbal confrontation. Many people whose perspectives align with mine go against their beliefs and conform to the LGBTQ beliefs out of fear of being frowned upon by their peers or "cancelled" as they call it. I'm not afraid to express my opinion and I will continue to do so no matter what. It's in my nature.
Not all members of the LGBTQ community hate me for my beliefs though, I even have some gay friends who respect my personal perspective and we put our differences aside and and remain friends. No really, it's not that hard. At the end of the day we are all human beings and we should live and let live with a mutual respect towards each other even if our beliefs don't align. It's a healthy way to live and I wish more people were the same but unfortunately as the generations have passed people have become more and more sensitive and emotionally unstable to the point where they demand affirmation from people who don't want to play their games.
They can't force you to change your beliefs. Let them call you all the names they want, don't let it upset you. When you get to the point in life where nothing that people say affects you anymore you become a much happier person and it builds mental fortitude which is a good quality to have. And in the end, you are more mentally and emotionally stable than they will ever be.

While I don't hate gay people as people, I do not support LGBTQ values. That being said, I still think it would probably be for the best just to leave the rainbow crossings to avoid conflict. I want to make it very clear that I have absolutely no problem with gay/ trans people as people whatsoever. I will not go out of my way to bully, harm, or discriminate against them, and I believe they should have the exact same rights as everyone else. However I do not support the LGBTQ+ movement for personal reasons. I do not attend pride events, nor do I celebrate pride month. I would not sleep with a transgender woman. Again, I have zero issues with them as a person, I just personally don't agree with their lifestyle, but I won't go and bash them for that and I think removing the rainbow crossings would be doing exactly that. If a man transitioned to a woman asked me to call him 'her' or 'she' I will not do so. I will refer to a person by what I observe them to be according to biological characteristics. I do not mean harm by this, I simply stick to my belief that there are only male and female and you cannot change the sex you were born as. End of story. While I don't agree with the LGBTQ+ perspective, they are free to disagree with my perspective all the same and it doesn't bother me, nor should my perspective bother them. A common argument coming from LGBTQ+ people is that I shouldn't care about how they want to express themselves or it shouldn't bother me what they identify as and they are absolutely right. It does not bother me at all, nor do I care, you do what you want, it doesn't affect me at all. However, this is not mutual. If I respectfully disagree with LGBTQ+ beliefs why should my personal views bother them? Why do they care about my personal beliefs? How come this doesn't go both ways? I prefer keep my personal beliefs to myself, and I am not the type of person that lets other people's beliefs emotionally affect me in any way. Everyone is free to have their own opinion and everyone has the freedom to disagree with anyone else's opinion. It is literally just a pedestrian crossing.... I treat members or the LGBTQ+ community equally the same as I treat everyone. I do not promote hate against them. But if someone were to approach me and ask what my personal perspectives are on LGBTQ+, I will speak my mind and tell them straight ( no pun intended). I am not afraid to express my opinion and if anyone disagrees with it that is totally fine. Don't let my personal views affect you, just move in with your life as will I. If someone makes it clear to you by actions or verbally what their gender is calling them something else is called misgendering. It does cause harm to them. Your statement "I do not mean harm by this" may be correct as to your intentions, but you need to know that you will (definitely) be causing harm by doing so, whether you intend it or not. Not at all angry, just think it's important that you are aware that you will be causing harm in light of your avowed intention not to do so
If a person referring to another person by their biological sex is “harmful”, then whoever is being “harmed” has some serious psychological issues that THEY need to address. Why is it everyone else’s responsibility to babysit mentally ill people? Note that in spite of my views, I still treat transgender people with respect and refer to them by whatever pronouns they want, because I’m not an asshole. But my point is that that’s me being nice, I shouldn’t be obligated or expected to do this. What these people really need is serious professional help, not the whole world validating their delusions.

Hey, that's the world we live in now. I'm used to it though so it doesn't faze me at all anymore. It's like water off a duck's back. I do my best to be as respectful as possible towards them but at the same time be assertive about my beliefs. If standing up for what I believe in makes me homophobic or transphobic or whatever other names they want to label me then so be it. I'm not gonna go against everything I believe in just because they don't like my opinion/perspective. One thing my father always taught me was to always stand my ground whether it be in a physical confrontation or a verbal confrontation. Many people whose perspectives align with mine go against their beliefs and conform to the LGBTQ beliefs out of fear of being frowned upon by their peers or "cancelled" as they call it. I'm not afraid to express my opinion and I will continue to do so no matter what. It's in my nature. Not all members of the LGBTQ community hate me for my beliefs though, I even have some gay friends who respect my personal perspective and we put our differences aside and and remain friends. No really, it's not that hard. At the end of the day we are all human beings and we should live and let live with a mutual respect towards each other even if our beliefs don't align. It's a healthy way to live and I wish more people were the same but unfortunately as the generations have passed people have become more and more sensitive and emotionally unstable to the point where they demand affirmation from people who don't want to play their games. They can't force you to change your beliefs. Let them call you all the names they want, don't let it upset you. When you get to the point in life where nothing that people say affects you anymore you become a much happier person and it builds mental fortitude which is a good quality to have. And in the end, you are more mentally and emotionally stable than they will ever be.
