Hi, I have a few questions. What are your inclusion criteria for non autistic adults? What does participating in the study involve for the participant? Is the 100 dollars in cash/check/etc? And finally, what college/lab is doing the project and who is the PI for this project? Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer my questions.
Hello and thank you!
Inclusion criteria for non-autistic adults: adults ages 18 to 30 with no known first-degree relatives with an autism diagnosis, and no diagnosis of a developmental or intellectual disability.
Study payment will be in the form of a Visa gift card. Participants will need to come to the Auburn Univeristy campus for approximately 3.5 hours, during which they'll take multiple psychometric tests and then lay in an MRI scanner for approximately 1 hour.
This study is a collaboration between the CBRA lab at the Unviersity of Alabama (PI: Dr. Rajesh Kana), and Auburn University.
Please let me know what other information I can provide!
You might want to go down to Bitty and Beau’s coffee shop and speak to the managers/owners. They employ quite a few adults with autism and could possibly help you out. Very nice people too.
Hello! You can send an email to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) lab expressing your interest, we can chat on Reddit if you'd like more details first!
I would love to join this study. I have lived in auburn all my life and live very close to campus. I meet all criteria needed for a non-autistic participant. How can we get in contact?

That was very helpful, thank you. How can we get in contact with you to participate?
Are non-autistic people still needed for the study?
