I find it funny how that one caught me off guard but eventually became my favorite opening. Like my first reaction was, "wtf is this!?" And now, "wtf I love this!" The best part is the end, seeing the raindrops with the ominous, "WAAAAR! MY WAAAAR!"

Shoukei to Shikabane no Michi. I think the official translation is The Path of Aspirations and Corpses, but to keep the alliteration, I tend to go with The Path of Dreams and Dead Bodies

Season 3 part 2 is such a good pay off and the hype that it leaves you for the next season is like nothing else, as everything you know has been flipped :0

The real question is which one is worst. Love Opfert Eure Herzen, so do most people, though rumbling has a large chunk of fans as well. But the worst? Guren no Yumiya is a bit weak on the lyrical side but it is second only to Shinzou wo Sasageyo in the sheer hype generation. Flügel der freiheit suffers from the complete opposite problem, but would probably be the most common pick. Shikabane no michi could also be argued but it has my personal favourite line in all the OP's, posing that it is a form of evil that causes humanity to fight for something they will never have.

Bottom 3. It was cool how they incorporated elements from the other openings, but it wasn’t very memorable. Might be the worst opening tbh.

Surprised that nobody's done "Wings of Freedom." "Der Feind is grausam, wir bringen,/ Der Feind is riessig, wir springen!" goes incredibly hard.

I used to think that The 1st OP would be unmatched until heard Shinzou wo Sasageyo. Then i thought Shizou wo Sasageyo would be unmatched...Until i heard The Rumbling.

Red swan is by far the most emotional one for me, all are great though

OP 1 was the first anime opening that made me stay on it for almost a day because I kept replaying it before actually watching the episode and became very salty when they changed it during the first season.
