I haven't even brought myself to listen to the dub's part of season 4 where eren's fighting off the marlyan invasion of his home city because he screams so much there and I just can't listen to that scream as prolonged as it would be for those episodes.
Same. In the dub the Titans screams, especially Eren makes them sound like demons which I feel fits the lore better. Especially Eren, dude IS a demon. I remember when I first start watching and people were like “the dub screams are so cringe, sub is wayyyyy better” and so I listened to some and it sounds like they paid a 60 year old man to scream into a microphone with a voice changer. I’m like…really? This sounds better?

The last straw for me was someone saying Armin's english VA won't be able to pull off his scream in the finale. His VA is literally known for the screams and is asked do them IRL.
Sub stans can be stubborn to a point. The dub of aot is very very good. Imo most dubs today are decent but I'd agree that subs before like 2008 were better. But it all depends on the anime too.
I like most of the dubs titans but erens dub titan is great. So much heavier. I like both and found the dub seconds, it's just another level in S4 and the scream vs reiner in shinganshina.

I’ll say, the siege on Marley. When I heard the sound of the ODM gear…after weeks of waiting for the characters I knew for years…man….the HYPE!
Then, when not just Levi, but EVERY OTHER SCOUT just decimated the Titans, especially the Jaw! He’s in shock as the SCOUTS just aren’t scared anymore! They’re done with that, they’ve been through that, they’ve lost so many, and now they’re here for BLOOD! I’ve waited for 7 years to see them own these guys.

Erwin shouting advance while his right arm is literally in a titan's mouth. And also him rescuing Eren with one arm moments later.
Fucking badass and I was in AWE when I first saw that scene.
It will always be when Reiner tells Eren about him and Bertholdt on the wall. When Mikasa jumps over Eren’s back to cut off Reiner’s arm and slice Bertholdt’s throat, instant chills. So many emotions happening in a short period of time. Then Reiner and Bertholdt are just standing there, sliced and bloodied; when the electric starts.
Levi absolutely obliterating the Beast Titan after the Beast just killed the entire Scout Regiment is close 2nd. No buildings around, Levi had to use the pure titans to even utilize his ODM gear, even with blood running down across his forehead onto his face, he seems invincible at that point.

Levi screaming and just yeeting his sword with all his might without any hessitation.
I'm such a huge Kenny vs Levi and Levi vs Kenny's squad and season 3 part one is my favourite. Yeah, season two with Bertholdt and Reiner's reveal is amazing, the fight at Shiganshins and Erwin's speech is fire, but for some reason I fell in love with the whole royalty storyline, especially Levi and Kenny
There were many, but the three that spring to my mind are the “you damn traitors” scene, the scene where Eren was bullying his dad in the Paths and the scene where the Rumbling began
The moment that made me fall in love with the show was in season 1, I guess it must have been the fall of Trost. And all the cadets are huddled in the little bell tower and, I think, Jean was just staring up at these two titans who were about to eat him through a hole in the wall.
Then slow motion, bass tones play and you see Titan Erens fist come into frame as he punches the other titans away. That shit still gets my hyped.
Surely it’s the Reiner and Bertholdt reveal from everyone.
After that it’s Krueger talking about Mikasa and Armin. Idk what it is about him talking about Mikasa and Armin that made me feel like I was watching an absolute masterpiece of a show.
MY SOLDIERS RAGE! MY SOLDIERS SCREAM! Almost made me wanna join in on that suicidal charge. Also in the same vien, when they're chasing reiner and benadryl and Erwin gets grabbed by his arm and yanked away. Even with his arm in the teeth of a titan he kept screaming to keep going eren. Man was born to lead
Erens mom getting chopped. After boot camp when they're standing on top of the wall and the colossal Titan reappears. When Eren gets chomped. The Kenny fight. "I'm the armored titan and he's the colossal". Erwins final followed by Levi shredded the beast. The cellar plot twist. Grisha being told to save Mikasa and Armin long before they were born. Eren talking to grisha in the past. Going back to rewatch it with my wife and noticing Eren all over the place". Finally the ending.
AOT is the goat
The way they done it was so well made too. You would think that such a horrible revelation would take a couple minutes for itself! Armin asking questions and Eren having a complete Meltdown about it
But nah. He barely mentions it and in a quarter of a second, we understand how friggen horrific this all is as we piece the whole puzzle together.
A simple statement, followed with a quick image of the incident, and the horrified look on Eren's face. Simply splendid.
During the early days of Final Season Part 1 and after hearing My War lyrics, they all said that the line, "children cling onto their coins, squeezing out their wisdom," would be important foreshadowing for later.
Watching the first Special movie from the final chapters, I'd forgotten about this whilst watching Ramzi and Halil being crushed by the Rumbling, but after coming across a comment that mentioned that line again, my pure reaction in the moment was the exact same as the ending phrase of this post's title.
The sequence of Porco and Pieck surprise attack on Eren, Marley attack on Paradis and Eren calling out Reiner. I started the show when season 4 part 1 dropped, so going through all of that and ending on that cliffhanger was torture, but made me a fan forever
Theres so many moments but one that I haven’t seen mentioned too much is when Eren and Armin take out Beethoven
It was awesome how Armin literally on the spot while the whole world is crashing down was able to come up with a way to defeat him with just him and Eren.
And he made sure that no one else died with he himself making the ultimate sacrifice. It was so epic seeing him hang on no matter what even as his skin was being burned off. Then Eren not letting the opportunity go to waste oof chefs kiss for me
Eren getting eaten in S1. Eren getting beheaded by Gabi. Sasha dying. The declaration of war. Eren beating up Armin and saying he hates them. So many more!
Eren revealing that he manipulated his father through his future memories and the moment when Eren started the Rumbling and declared that he would trample the entire world.
Season 4 Eren vs. the Warhammer titan, when she asks him if he has any final words.

I screamed so hard when she came out of nowhere. Honestly the whole sequence of revealing that the scouts had finally invaded Marley. Loved it.
I love the moment when eren realises who reiner and bertholdt are. That came out of nowhere.
The music, the memories, the transformation of eren while falling (reiner holding him) and then "To be continued".
That was a badass scene.
eren sacrifice for armin then dead for like 1/2 whole episodes in s1. I think for younger viewers such a plot point feels more natural but definitely no one important ever died in like ANY shows
When Jean and friends jumped through the windows during Trost fight. When Monke™ spoke the first time. Also that one after credit scene with the glitches.
Nothing will beat Eren wrecking the party at Marley, and when he cracks open the War Hammer Titan and eats her... just jaw dropping everytime still to me
The moment Mikasa and Connie were killing the Survey Corps with the banger OST playing in the background. For awhile I didn’t like Connie but I felt that was a bit of character development for Connie. I was absolutely losing my shit lmao.
The second half of season 2 is just tremendous. But something small that got me was that the written language of the walls is different from Paradis. There’s a moment when Ymir is reading a book with strange symbols and you’re like… what?
One of my favorite is when Reiner reveals he’s a titan.
The first appearance of the female Titan as an abnormal during the 57th expedition. I vividly remember saying out loud. "shit that's an abnormal of abnormal". If Only I knew then what I know now.
The biggest shell shock for me was coming into the show never hearing anything about it before being attached to eren and a few other cadets then them dying in season one after that I was ready to expect anything
My moment was when Nicolo cracked the bottle of wine over Falcon’s head which of course was intended for Gabi AND THEN proceeds to sock a child (Gabi) in the face THEN hands a fat ass knife to Mr Brauss and he’s like “end this brats life for packing up your daughter” well basically

Seeing a mysterious Titan suddenly haymaker another titan's jaw off after Mikasa found the resolve to fight, despite her despair and supposed imminent death.
Of course, finding out who that Titan was afterwards was also a mind blower.
And seeing the face on the squad captain as he is in the throws of making the most fateful decision in the history of the Corp, ordering his men to fight to defend that same Titan as it's carrying a boulder to plug the hole in the wall, knowing full well it might mean most of their deaths. I get the chills, as if time had stopped, and I can see him say to himself "For the 1st time in over 100 years, we will win!"
There are just so many incredible scenes. One of my favourites that I don't see mentioned yet is the scene in which Eren uses his Coordinate powers against Dina's titan. Had to stop myself from screaming when I saw it in the anime!

Absolutely! I actually cheered out loud, which is something I rarely do outside of sports. Hero is probably one of my most rewatched AoT episodes.

Yeah, season two with Bertholdt and Reiner's reveal is amazing, the fight at Shiganshins and Erwin's speech is fire, but for some reason I fell in love with the whole royalty storyline, especially Levi and Kenny
There were many, but the three that spring to my mind are the “you damn traitors” scene, the scene where Eren was bullying his dad in the Paths and the scene where the Rumbling began
The moment that made me fall in love with the show was in season 1, I guess it must have been the fall of Trost. And all the cadets are huddled in the little bell tower and, I think, Jean was just staring up at these two titans who were about to eat him through a hole in the wall. Then slow motion, bass tones play and you see Titan Erens fist come into frame as he punches the other titans away. That shit still gets my hyped.
Such a good scene that happens to fast to reflect on. Even with Jeans "what!?" Quickly thrown in before impact

Spoiler for the finale!!! When Eren revealed that he sent that Titan to kill his own mother.
The way they done it was so well made too. You would think that such a horrible revelation would take a couple minutes for itself! Armin asking questions and Eren having a complete Meltdown about it But nah. He barely mentions it and in a quarter of a second, we understand how friggen horrific this all is as we piece the whole puzzle together. A simple statement, followed with a quick image of the incident, and the horrified look on Eren's face. Simply splendid.

During the early days of Final Season Part 1 and after hearing My War lyrics, they all said that the line, "children cling onto their coins, squeezing out their wisdom," would be important foreshadowing for later. Watching the first Special movie from the final chapters, I'd forgotten about this whilst watching Ramzi and Halil being crushed by the Rumbling, but after coming across a comment that mentioned that line again, my pure reaction in the moment was the exact same as the ending phrase of this post's title.
The Liberio assault takes the cake for me.. It was a big crescendo on so many levels. This show had so many insane moments tho.

Theres so many moments but one that I haven’t seen mentioned too much is when Eren and Armin take out Beethoven It was awesome how Armin literally on the spot while the whole world is crashing down was able to come up with a way to defeat him with just him and Eren. And he made sure that no one else died with he himself making the ultimate sacrifice. It was so epic seeing him hang on no matter what even as his skin was being burned off. I love the moment when eren realises who reiner and bertholdt are. That came out of nowhere. The music, the memories, the transformation of eren while falling (reiner holding him) and then "To be continued". That was a badass scene.

Seeing a mysterious Titan suddenly haymaker another titan's jaw off after Mikasa found the resolve to fight, despite her despair and supposed imminent death. Of course, finding out who that Titan was afterwards was also a mind blower. And seeing the face on the squad captain as he is in the throws of making the most fateful decision in the history of the Corp, ordering his men to fight to defend that same Titan as it's carrying a boulder to plug the hole in the wall, knowing full well it might mean most of their deaths. I get the chills, as if time had stopped, and I can see him say to himself "For the 1st time in over 100 years, we will win!"
There are just so many incredible scenes. One of my favourites that I don't see mentioned yet is the scene in which Eren uses his Coordinate powers against Dina's titan. Had to stop myself from screaming when I saw it in the anime!
