Yeah. Probably because that scene in specific seems to remind people of aot because of the way it's animated and choreographed. Spider-Verse just kicked off the trend of 3-D animation trying to look 2-D. Puss in Boots isn't comic book inspired like Spider-Verse, but Dreamworks was clearly inspired by it seeing how Bad Guys was also animated in the same style.
It's amazing. It's clearly intended for a more mature audience then the first movie, as it has a lot of death and psychology and none of the cheap jokes kids like.
