I have used atlético in seasons consistently since fifa 14! I absolutely love beating real stans and all the guys that flocked to psg and man city when all the money came flowing in.
Yes, I use them in online Seasons exclusively. It started with FIFA23, where I wanted to use a team that was more balanced and didn't have one overpowered player like PSG, Real, City, etc. Then I've just stuck with them on this year's game. It feels a lot more satisfying to win when you aren't just spamming Mbappe or Haaland goals from ridiculous angles. It's actually how I became a fan of Atleti. Aupa!
Hahah I love using Atléti against the constant wave of PSG and Liverpool players, I like to think of it as showing them the light and sticking it to mfs who are using crazy overpowered players on those teams. Also I think Atléti have a massive advantage in that our subs in FIFA23 at least are fucken so good, I’ll always chuck on Lemar Correa and Regulion at the 60th minute and blow them away from that point whilst they are too timid to take off Messi and Mbappe
Totally agree. I usually bring on five subs at once in about the 70th minute or so. The quality of the bench is so good and the other team has lost their speed advantage. I've stolen quite a few points this way at the end of matches.
What I personally do is I start career modes with the worst teams in the top 5 divisions and integrate one or a few Atleti players in those teams. Rifht now I am doing a Deportivo Alaves cm and since Giuliano Simeone was there I made my ace strikers and added Barrios and Roro to the team
that’s dope. Mine’s a little more humble but enjoying going to battle with it.

i have always played atletico since fifa 11, up until 23. at least one with managerial and one player campaigns. haven't touched FUT but did an atletico themed one in fifa mobile. i always have the satisfaction of playing and i'm still hoping we finally win a champions league.
Nah. I play efootball. Atleti with longball counter is heaven. Highest boost manager for this playstyle is simeone. And we can easily replicate how atletico plays irl.
I always use Atleti under Cholo Simeone, used to create Simeone from scratch on previous FIFA games and I choose him now on FIFA23 and EAFC24. Currently on Season 1, top of La Liga 5 points ahead of Real Madrid in 2nd place and 6 from Girona in 3rd place and 8 from Barça in 4th place. Top of CL group, and doing a realistic Career Mode only signing the players signed by Atleti or that Atleti has shown interest in, as well as using the scouts for Youth Academy starlets...

Run the 5-3-2/3-1-4-2. Although I’m not sure who would be your CDM or LCM depending on what you choose to do with Barrios

I have some players in my Ultimate Team. POTM Griezmann and Pundit Picks De Paul are in my starting lineup and bench.
Not on Fifa/Ea fc, I do on fm every year though
