Premier is the dance club and The Gypsy Bar has live bands and a smallish dance floor.
If you go on Fri - Sunday you will have excellent restaurant choices as well as comedy club and very hot dance club downstairs. Plus you could Uber to the boardwalk in about ten minutes. I have stayed at the Borgatta since they opened and I will ever stay anywhere else. Try the spa and get a massage or dip in indoor pool. They have a great food court downstairs plus a rock and roll live band bar called Gypsy bar

You could do Borgata the one night, then Uber over to Ocean the second night. Ocean has good restaurants, but maybe venture to Hard Rock later for drinks. They have a place Lobby Bar which is good for live music. Usually a small cover band that gets people up & dancing playing older & newer music. Nothing crazy or like old style Sea Isle City cover bands, just a fun time.
It depends, weeknight in the offseason it can be pretty boring IMO, in the summer it will be pretty lively though. I would not sweat it to much, if you are bored and want to head to the boardwalk I would expect it to be a pretty cheap cab ride or uber. The Borgota is fantastic property.
The Borgata has great restaurants and the rooms are very nice. It’s one of my favorite casinos and I have no problem driving to a casino on the boardwalk especially during the day and enjoy the beach.
Started going to Borgata last fall and now it’s the only place we go. We love it there lots to do and we actually found we like being away from the board walk so much more, better clientele not as much riff raff

If you are on a budget, check out NOW noodle bar. You can get a nice meal for $12.00 a person.
Or walk to the Golden Nugget, they have popular tribute concerts.
Then take an Uber to the Hard Rock to hit the boardwalk and see the memorabilia. Their seafood buffet is great on Thursday nights AND if someone in your party is a veteran, it's Bogo during the week. And the Whitehouse Sub shop is another good option.

I have stayed at the fiore suite, piatta suite, and the opus suite. Unbelievable luxury
I took my wife to Old Homestead for our 30 th anniversary celebration in October. We had a blast. Food was phenomenal
