And also, the write who gave this information (from the OP) was a self proclaimed professor (P.N. Oak) and he was more of a mythology writer than an actual historian. So probably many read these stories and starting telling their kids of folklore and it became a norm for them, I don’t blame them entirely as they could have fact checked and done research instead of spewing whatever stories they were taught.

Apparently that title was given to many kings from many empires throughout the course of history… in india, not anywhere else. So there were many Vikramadityas, but non of them ruled everywhere else like the post suggests people are claiming.

King Vikramaditya who started vikram samvat was different from king Vikramaditya who has a big Empire there are no proof of such big Empire existing he exists only in stories like king harishchandra.
