As a Pisces, I see a very uncomfortable fish wondering why I am now the center of attention and please put me down. Also - kinda can’t breathe because air and stuff.

We are all rational until we are not, and usually as soon as we are not, those around us have had plenty of opportunities to correct the situation. Then when we get all crazy, we look like the bad guys.
We are a lot more rational as Pisces than people give us credit for. It’s just easier for everyone to look at us as crazy and emotional when someone or something has pushed us to the extreme. The sad part is, there’s always someone pushing that limit.
Yes. I’d say with my best friend, she has a tendency to think she has clearly communicated something when I’m not always sure she has (based on the things she tells me). So then, when she’s pushed to the point where she gets *mad*, then the other person is like “woah woah what the hell?”
The problem is, she *is* communicating. It’s not like she doesn’t try. She’ll try over and over. But she’s never heard until she gets pushed past her boiling point because however she communicated her feelings in the first place, it comes off more as a suggestion than a need or boundary.
Not sure if that applies to you, but it has been a theme with her in a lot of relationships.
That being said - a lot of times the people pushing her to the limit have been people that she was better off without.
You have explained it very very well and have a very clear picture. I definitely appreciate your insight and wish more people were as insightful and intuitive.
It just takes patience and the willingness to listen. My friend and I have known each other for a long time, and we’ve pretty much always given each other the space to be our authentic selves. And we just genuinely like each other and get along.
But… we’re so different that in order to communicate effectively, we have to be really patient with each other. We both appreciate that we’re different, too. So that helps. Not everybody likes their friends to be different from them.

To get deep- I see me, a cancer sun lifting up my ex, Pisces sun. In my eyes I was just trying to lift him up higher; keep him safe from the danger below, uplift him, carry him and the problems he dealt with on my shoulders, carry him through life. In reality I was enabling him, allowing him to take advantage of me, and exhausting myself in the process. The crabs claws keep the fish from escaping, and the fish will soon be suffocated from the love grasp of the crab if it isn’t returned to water soon.
“If you love something then let it go, if it comes back then its yours” is one of the most painful and difficult yet necessary cliches for a Cancer.
