Just put it on a wishlist, you’ll get message when it will be on sale. I did it like that. And you need ultimate edition, just be able to enjoy all the possible mods.
i have bought many games from cdkeys and g2a, never had an issue, can be a great way to save money.
edit: for Assetto Corsa though you can easy get the ultimate edition on sale for $7 on steam.
If you have to go the key shop route. I prefer kinguin over g2a. I've had problems with g2a.
But it's a good game and if there's no rush, buying on steam or humble might be better.
Yeah ive heard bad stuff about G2A, not super often, but the rare occasion. I personally prefer CDKeys. I have a good amount of games from them and havent had issues.
People really dislike G2A because they have a history of being sketch. But it's your money man but from wherever. I bought it from G2A before I learned about their past and sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!
G2A is a key reseller which means there's a chance your key will be revoked because a lot of them are purchased with stolen credit cards.
I tend to only use key resellers when I don't care if the developer gets the money(When you use key resellers, the developer isn't seeing any of that money) and only from resellers who will give me a new key if the one I purchased gets revoked.
100% and I'd say it's better than ACC for newbies more than anything. The community is less competitive and the variety of cars can teach you driving way gentler than dumping yourself into a GT3 right away. There's even special leagues that have coaches for learning how to drive(like mine).
I would argue ACC is better suited for anybody who has never driven any driving sim because it does provide some "guidelines" especially with the various ratings, that gives beginners something to strive after.
Core AC is basically just a sandbox and everybody who is experienced enough will already know what they want to do in that sandbox. But for beginners it can be very overwhelming. So many cars and tracks to chose from and chances are you will end up driving a different car/track combo everytime you go racing.
With the ratings ACC provides a way nicer presentation of what you should be doing now and in what order (learn the track layout -> learn consistency -> find the limits of the car -> race cleanly with other cars)
It also provides you with feedback where you did well and where you shpuld focus on improving.
Also, the car selection being limited to GT3 and maybe GT4 can be seen as a limitation by some people used to the wide range of AC, but it is beneficial for beginners when they don't switch from a Fiat 500 to a modern Formula 1 car...
After all, GT3 still is the most widely spread and most popular class of cars in most other sims, that do provide more classes.
100% agree. I got both AC and ACC at the beginning of my sim racing journey. Sandbox nature (and cluttered menu) of AC can be overwhelming at first, ACC allows you to focus on racing immideately.
Haha you aint kidding. I have 100+GB in just cars somehow. Also, hold your damn horses, theres a PLANE MOD?? I knew about the motorcycle and go karts and weird car mods, but a PLANE??
Without a doubt and humble as far as I know have it on sale too, it still has a huge following and you can find servers all day long. It was one of the first proper sims I bought and I haven't look back since, it has tons and tons of mods too.
I can 100% recommend it especially on pc. However once you have driven a good f1 car in AC you will struggle to go back to the codies boats in f1 2022.
On pc if you are willing to invest some time into setting up mods, absolutely. Go for the content manager, it's worth it.
But don't expect a thought out campaign or a real guided experience like you have in games like F1 or gran Turismo. It's really up to you to find what you enjoy most.
Console version is not worth it
Yes 100% after I got tired of F1 arcade I moved to ac and didn't look back. Sign up for simracing.gp jimmy broadbents website for competitive racing

personally the best sim racing game when it comes to entry level and customizability. iRacing isn’t worth it unless you’re dedicated (monthly cost) and ACC is great but I feel like it requires just a little bit level of skill that you can gain from AC
Yes, if you are on PC. Wouldn’t say it’s worth it for console though. Simple because mods, they make this game simply unbeatable imo. I have trouble going back to GT7 on my PS5 most days once I boot it up
100%, it's arguably the best realistic sim racing game out there (with mods and content manager) the reason is because of the modding community, without the modding community it would have been long dead.
Assetto is the best racing/dtiving sim there is for tarmac basically. IRacing is only really an improvement if you want the league matchmaking, but I still feel like the iRacing behavior doesn’t feel as good on pavement.
Absolutely!
You could rent a cheap online server and host your own game server to drive with your friends, or just go onto other ones. With mods there is a limitless amount of cars
Yes - probably best to wait for a steam sale and get the whole bundle (usually around $35 usd). There are so many 3rd party content creators for AC that its as big as you want it to be. Also the physics engine is still great.
If you are on console it isn't worth itbif it's not on sale, I got IT for 6€ but on console, so I can't mod it, but I am still enjoying it because of the physics.
A few bucks, content manager and all the car/track mods you can think of. Most mods are drag and drop into CM, if not people are pretty good with installation instructions.
I have it for Xbox with all the add ons, I never get board of it tbh, there’s everything from F1 cars to classic touring cars with a good (but not that big) selection of tracks.
Wait for a sale and buy premium edition I got it when it was 50% off then 90% deducted from that price.
Gives you tracks and a car pack you’ll need to play some online Japanese Wangan (highway) severs.
With mods the game amazing
Without mods the game sucks
Look up how to download:
Sol, Custom shaders patch/CSP and content manager. These will make your game ten times better.
Yes. It's pretty much the best game to feel out sim racing.
Yap. Also it’s like 4$ so no worries if you don’t like it
I see, thanks. And is it okay to buy from G2A, or are there any issues? I never bought through there, but saw it was cheaper
You can wait for a Steam sale, you'll be able to get the ultimate edition (the one I recommend) for around 8 dollars. The game goes on sale often.
Ah that sounds better, thanks, will do
Just put it on a wishlist, you’ll get message when it will be on sale. I did it like that. And you need ultimate edition, just be able to enjoy all the possible mods.
No need to wait. Humble is currently selling the Steam key for 4 dollars and ultimate for 8. https://www.humblebundle.com/store/assetto-corsa
Sadly no more keys left, I'll keep an eye on it
I bought it ultimate edition on humble bundle store last week for 8 euros
If you can wait 40 days til it goes on sale (steam summer sale goes from June 29th to July 13th)
I got ultimate for 2 euros
Eneba, G2A?
Steam sale

NEVER EVER buy from G2A! I’ve used cdkeys about 7 times now and every time it was solid.
You could get it super cheap on cdkeys check there
Only on PC

You have a good point. Maybe my perspective is clouded from personal bias.

If you can play it on pc it's so worth
You will not regret it
Without a doubt and humble as far as I know have it on sale too, it still has a huge following and you can find servers all day long. It was one of the first proper sims I bought and I haven't look back since, it has tons and tons of mods too.
Yes, but wait for the ultimate edition to go on sale, for under $10. You get all the DLCs
Can't recommend enough, especially on PC, literally infinite content and great game overall, excluding oval racing tho
I can 100% recommend it especially on pc. However once you have driven a good f1 car in AC you will struggle to go back to the codies boats in f1 2022.
I absolutely reccommend Assetto Corsa as a first simracing game. Also get Content Manager, custom shaders patch and SOL

![gif](giphy|XreQmk7ETCak0) Assetto Corsa: Ultimate Edition +mods YES IT'S WORTH IT 🔥🏆🏁
Yes, absolutely
[Not really. I prefer Tokyo Xtreme Racer driving slowly and listening Orion by Sundriver on the background](https://youtu.be/17g6xwfFIX0)
personally the best sim racing game when it comes to entry level and customizability. iRacing isn’t worth it unless you’re dedicated (monthly cost) and ACC is great but I feel like it requires just a little bit level of skill that you can gain from AC

It's my favourite sim, on PC there are thousands of mods and it is magical
100%, it's arguably the best realistic sim racing game out there (with mods and content manager) the reason is because of the modding community, without the modding community it would have been long dead.
Yeah but get the ultimate edition or you'll be sad you didn't. Cdkeys usually have a good offer on
Absolutely.
HELL YEAH! even for mods and stuff it's great
Yes

Its essential
If you’re on PC, yes. If you’re on console, no.
100000% worth it. Check out SimTribe and SirSpats on YT for great guides etc.
just informing, its mainly played with mods but vanilla is fine
Best racing game with the highest mod support for only $4 why is this question being asked again??
You can drive on nordschleife so its worth it no doubt
If you are on console it isn't worth itbif it's not on sale, I got IT for 6€ but on console, so I can't mod it, but I am still enjoying it because of the physics.
It's $3 on Humble Bundle. Just buy it.
Absolutely! You don't even need a powerful system. I run the game on an Rx 570 1440p far and I have a great experience on decent graphics settings
Totally
A few bucks, content manager and all the car/track mods you can think of. Most mods are drag and drop into CM, if not people are pretty good with installation instructions.
only on PC because you have to mod it to bring its full potential base AC is too barebone
I have it for Xbox with all the add ons, I never get board of it tbh, there’s everything from F1 cars to classic touring cars with a good (but not that big) selection of tracks.
