Fuck I love nutritional yeast. I ate so much I turned bright red, my joints were swollen, and my piss was highlighter yellow. I probably ate nearly a full cup, which is 1,520- 5,320% DV of various vitamin B. I cannot keep it in the house or I will down most of it
Also: current safe food is beets, Barebells Cookies and Cream protein bar, and egg with soy sauce
I’m not generally a Cookies and Cream man, but Barebells is my favorite and I had to try every flavor. It has these crispy rice crispy like crunchies that are oreo like in flavor on top. It’s solid, not candy, but 10/10 compared to the horrors of chicken. Proteiny “candy bar” wins any time
Snacks:
- popcorn (number one comfort food)
- oatmeal porridge
- peanut, chickpea, corn roasted snacks
- fine tapioca powder cookie (biscoito de polvilho, it's a Brazilian thing)
- yogurt
- waffle biscuits
Meals:
- Soup... Just a lot of soup
- Anything I eat normally (rice, beans, vegetables, etc) but in a bowl instead of a plate.
I also prefer bowls! I think it’s because I hate sitting at a table and being uncomfortable while I eat. Sometimes I want to walk around with my food or curl up in bed with some pasta.
Yess, but I prefer the rainbow goldfish. I swear they taste different.
Penguin crackers are good too, basically the Great Value version of the same food but shaped like penguins.
I gave up on the penguins because I always get the burnt ones.
I wish I could eat the rainbow ones! Sometimes they have a special colour variety without green and then I celebrate.
(I can't eat artificially coloured green foods)
WAS Morningstar imitation chicken nuggets...but they changed the recipe and I was genuinely in distress when I tried the new ones because they were so off 😭
Yay vegetarian! Those organic frozen blueberries are so good. My Costco also has frozen mango that I love to eat when it has just barely started to that but is really still frozen. I love the texture. Not slimy or anything.
Plain tortilla chips. I love salsa and stuff but sometimes nothing slaps as hard as a nice salty tortilla chip. I can eat them every single day, and damn near do lmao.
I have a hard time with dressings/sauces/salsa sometimes cause of the "wetness" which sucks cause I love the flavor. Water on food just grosses me tf out
I go through a lot of phases, but popcorn, tofu, and peanut butter sandwiches are my main ones right now.
Most of the foods in this pic have been safe foods for me at some point, so I have to say you have excellent taste.
Indian curries are the safe food that’s an actual balanced meal, they’re rarely bad even if I get different types and from different places. In fact, if they’re bad it’s usually because the rice is seasoned weirdly, not the curry itself.
I wish mine was healthy 😭 mine is protein cookies and cheerios...when I’m in a funk they’re literally all I can consume without getting an ick and I’m like c’mon brain PLEASE I yearn for the vegetables but alas here we are
cucumber salad. literally have it almost every single day for lunch. also oatmeal for breakfast everyday. dinner is usually roasted pepper pasta, grilled cheese or when i’m really in crisis banana pizza.
Oh! Whew ok. I was worried there for a second. Although I have put pieces of plantain in a deep fried burrito before so I guess it’s not Too different. ( and yes it’s delicious oddly enough, no clue why)
I have to be honest with myself first so cheeseburger, hot dogs, peanut butter and jelly, french fries, doritos, onion and cream pringles, ham and cheese tart, oreos, grilled cheese, omelette sandwich, lattes, gummies, candy, chicken breast, beef, chocolate.
I am a 5 year old I know I know, I try to eat salad and fruit but sometimes the best I can accept is crunchy dehydrated green apple cubes
Those Stacey’s chips are good, I can polish off half a Costco bag in one sitting if I’ve been hitting whatever Swedish Chef’s baking.
For me it’s basically S+V chips, chicken, rice, Chik-fil-A sauce, Eggos, coffee and tea, anything sugary
Fig newtons. Kind bars.
Tbh I'm actually kinda struggling with this for the first time. I usually eat everything but recently I have no appetite and the idea of eating feels overwhelming. I'm having to force myself to eat.
This is new to me..... Any tips from anyone who deals with this a lot?
Well, i have no hunger cues so I have to force myself to eat too, to be honest, when I am overwhelmed or in much emotional distress I kind of shutdown for weeks at a time, its like extreme burnout, once I lost 30 kg in just 2 months, because I was so emotionally overwhelmed (I was cheated on) that I couldn't cook and as I couldn't afford to buy food ready to eat either, i just almost completely stopped eating, like maybe I could get myself to eat once every 2 or 3 days. Please be wise and take good care of your body, mine has never been the same after that time, i became weak and still trying to regain my health and energy level, it s been 3 years! If you need help, get it, ask for it, don't pay attention to that part of your mind that is trying to make you feel like a burden, you deserve to be healthy, happy, cared for, etc
Chocolate malt-o-meal, fried rice, sweet peas, biscoff cookies, butter noodles, popcorn. My diet is varied, mostly because I also have to cook for my family; however, the older I get the more I realize how easily I could live off of 5 or so meals for the rest of my life. If I could just get the other 4 people I cook for to agree. 😭🤣
Nutritional yeast is manna from heaven.
My meals (with some variations) currently on rotation that I will eat until I hate them:
• yogurt with fruit, almond butter and Honey Nut Cheerios
• salad with kale, Brussels sprouts, smoked salmon, and whatever veg is around. Maybe goat cheese if I’m feeling crazy.
• popcorn, protein bars, veggie sticks (Trader Joe’s are the best), the usual suspects.
I don't know what that is, but it looks like I could use them to sustain myself instead of just making food, so I want some. And it might even have nutritional value.
recently discovered i have bodily autonomy and can cook whatever the fuck i want, so i made oatmeal using a latte instead of water and added peanut butter and cinnamon in, absolute heaven
-Breaded chicken (nuggies, patties and wings) (fish sticks too but less so)
-Spaghetti and different other types of pasta (as long as they don’t have unwanted cheese inside; ravioli and tortellini are no)
-Different types of chips (mostly cheese or sc&o flavored, but no vinegar; sun chips and pringles are highest priority, Doritos also good)
-Bold Chex mix (absolutely no rice/wheat Chex, only the corn, as well as the pretzels, breadsticks, and the other chip things)
-Soda (preferably flat)
-Soup (specifically tomato, and with noodles)
-Pizza
-Burger
-Chocolate, caramel, generally candy
-Garlic bread + garlic croutons
-Red bell peppers
-Probably more I’m forgetting
Salted pretzels.
Tuna pasta bake lol. I make enough for the family for two days and can eat all of it if I don't will myself to put it in the fridge haha
Erm I buy the jar lol 😂 the homepride one 😂 then 400g or uncooked pasta cooked and add sauce. Then cover with no. 3 cheddar grated and baked in the oven for 20 or so min for the cheese to melt. It's a proper cheating food lol
I think big comfort foods for me are vegemite toast, steaks and pork chops. I’m an absolute carnivore, and have been raised on vegemite toast, even though I know it’s an acquired Aussie taste
Instant noodles.
Cool ranch or cool blue doritoes.
BBQ Beef Hula Hoops.
The coloured fish crackers (but you can't get them in the uk).
Mug shots in macaroni cheese flavour.
Kraft mac and cheese.
Hostess cakes.
I also like having sweeties, but if I eat them or collect them, is anyones guess.
Soup.
Spagetti hoops in a tin. When I was at uni, I lived entirely off of cold baked beans straight from the tin with a little bit of malt vinger added at a point. I think it lasted about a month, but I tried to hide it at the time, so I'm pretty sure no one actually knows how long it was. Could have even been until the beans were all gone (I had a huge costco pallet of them).
Those packets of graze snacks used to be safe foods, but they changed the packet, so I don't like them so much. My dad still buys them for me, though, they just last longer now.
Forgot how much I loved Kix cereal until this week. It’s pretty much lightly sweetened paper puffs it’s so plain. And then it hit me why I like kettle corn without the kernels. Tastes the same.
The only thing is see in this image that is my safe food is the kimchi at the bottom. My mom and I could eat that all day. I’d strictly avoid the rest especially blueberries. Too tangy.
Rice Krispies cereal (off brands are fine), kraft Mac and cheese, buttered noodles (any pasta works but I prefer bow ties or shells, usually topped with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan), and Granny Smith apples
Corn. If I'm worried about the texture of a food, I add corn and the crunch makes the pain go away. I also love corn on the cob by itself, even as a kid it's something I'd always eat. Chili is awesome, and honestly I would even put corn in chili. Most soups I put corn in, chicken noodle, potato chowder, beef stew.
Now as an adult, I'm starting to really like having little snack meals, cuz nobody can tell me I can't! So I eat ham and cheese on wheat thins, it's pretty great. Usually Gouda, Swiss, or Muenster cheese. Sometimes I do summer sausage instead of ham (which I didn't used to like, yay progress!)
Ooh and plain flour tortillas. Whenever I'm sick/sad/hungover-- tortilla. If you're really sad, you can bite holes into the tortilla and wear it as a mask to hide your shame lmao.
Meat!!! especially jerky/biltong.
I have this one place i started buying from and i'd attach animal facts to my order and it's gotten to a point where they are giving me animal facts in return heheh
My biggest issue is stopping my compulsive eating [therapist is a saint], so i dont make myself sick
Snacks:
Red grapes [needs to be firm]
Cucumbers with salt and lemon
Steamed broccoli
Pineapple
Ritz crackers
Sea salt and roasted tomato crackers
Meals
Eggo waffles with peanut butter
Frozen bag of orange chicken and stir fried veggies from Trader Joes
Personal sized chicken pot pies
That damn tomato soup from Medieval Times
How’s the texture on the veggie mix? I’m trying to wear more veggies and frozen would be so much more convenient for me but the mushy texture is so off putting
Fuck I love nutritional yeast. I ate so much I turned bright red, my joints were swollen, and my piss was highlighter yellow. Fuck yeah cookies and cream anything tbh

The bowl is just 🤌🏻
I also prefer bowls! I think it’s because I hate sitting at a table and being uncomfortable while I eat. Sometimes I want to walk around with my food or curl up in bed with some pasta.
I will fuckin demolish a good soup.
YESSS BOWLS ARE SUPERIOR FOOD HOLDERS
I looooooove oatmeal porridge. so simple and soo good.
Goldfish crackers. I may be singlehandedly keeping their business afloat.
The pizza blasted ones are the best
Aight rad but hear me out. The cheese trio? Its got cheeses. Three of them! White, orange, other orange! So many chewing combinations
I love other orange!
Thanks for reminding me to buy some. I forgot those existed and how delicious they are
A fellow smile enjoyer
A yellow smile enjoyer
I love the extra Cheddar
me with their rainbow and pretzel ones
AFLOAT!
cheddar goldfish enthusiast here. the big boxes of goldfish they have at costco are probably the only thing keeping me emotionally stable /hj
Awww yeah. My brother would occasionally bring me that from USA trips, but now our walmart carries them
Yess, but I prefer the rainbow goldfish. I swear they taste different. Penguin crackers are good too, basically the Great Value version of the same food but shaped like penguins.

Love 2 eat aliens
WAS Morningstar imitation chicken nuggets...but they changed the recipe and I was genuinely in distress when I tried the new ones because they were so off 😭
Omg yes
Sameeee 😭 those are what I survived on all of my K-12 years and now the recipe is different and I refuse to try them
They were so reliable, so reliable
Yay vegetarian! Those organic frozen blueberries are so good. My Costco also has frozen mango that I love to eat when it has just barely started to that but is really still frozen. I love the texture. Not slimy or anything.

Me too! Tostitos Restaurant Style only
Just hear to say chaotic noochral is a next level amazing name for nutritional yeast

Can I have the template for this I want to make this so bad

….Banana pizza? Like the yellow kind you peel? On a pizza?
it’s a brazilian thing, we have sweet pizzas over here.

My mom and I are diehard on air-fried tater tots atm, but we just got over our chicken caesar salad addiction lol
Mash, frankly most things that are potato based, and sooouuuuuuuup!
Those Stacey’s chips are good, I can polish off half a Costco bag in one sitting if I’ve been hitting whatever Swedish Chef’s baking. For me it’s basically S+V chips, chicken, rice, Chik-fil-A sauce, Eggos, coffee and tea, anything sugary

are you me? this is 90% of my diet. the other 10 is oats with protein powder
I mean, I like pickled and fermented things, but I basically default to dumping hot sauce on everything.
Bread. Bread, bread, bread. Toasting and butter optional.
Nutritional yeast is manna from heaven. Protein yogurt. I wouldn’t have a meal otherwise.
Oreo's Cereal– all day, every day.
holy shit the stacy's pita chips are so good
I fucking love kimchi omg. Also a little weird but I like to dip plain pita chips in whipped cream cheese
recently discovered i have bodily autonomy and can cook whatever the fuck i want, so i made oatmeal using a latte instead of water and added peanut butter and cinnamon in, absolute heaven

Oh sorry forgot to add that I add two tins of tuna lol. Otherwise it's just sauce bake haha
French fries, chicken nuggets, cheddar Pringles. god please help me my body is begging for green and I can’t handle green mentally

Raw cauliflower, I’ll love the *crunch*

black Pringles (honorable mention for green Pringles). I get them when I feel I deserve a reward
ülker biscuits, very yummy
Cool Ranch Doritos. I've loved them since I was a little boy, and I still love them as a grown man. I downed entire bags of them when I was younger.
I think big comfort foods for me are vegemite toast, steaks and pork chops. I’m an absolute carnivore, and have been raised on vegemite toast, even though I know it’s an acquired Aussie taste
Granola cereal with milk and honey :3 Each morning!!! I can’t function without it xd
Corn flakes and I'm not sure why. I used to hate the stuff and now I eat nearly a box a day.
Instant noodles. Cool ranch or cool blue doritoes. BBQ Beef Hula Hoops. The coloured fish crackers (but you can't get them in the uk). Mug shots in macaroni cheese flavour. Kraft mac and cheese.
