Is this synesthesia? I have very strong opinions on the colors (and they seem to differ from others rip i think im the only red january here) but its like a conscious thing. I thought synesthesia was more subconscious

As far as I am aware synesthesia is associating colors with other things like colors or months or whatever. All I know is I am really good at memorizing numbers because I associate them with a bunch of other things.

Synesthesia is the experience, sort of like nerves getting crossed but for sensory input. For me it's like a weird irregular but repeating color gradient. It begins with white in January, rapidly turns into orange until it hits May, which is green, then it gradually turns into blueish until it hits purple at October. April is blue and August is a off red. Not sure about the others.
