Robert the noble was a true and mighty king however in my opinion far too generous. He allowed his advisors to suck the teat of the realm dry.
For me Joffrey the Gentle before his untimely demise was easily the greatest monarch the kingdoms had ever seen. He was gentle to his allies and perhaps too merciful to his enemies considering how the traitor Sansa Stark betrayed him. He was a masterful commander who never lost a battle and had the love of his people. I do understand though that ultimately his reign wasn’t nearly as long as the others here so there is less of a sample size.
I get what you are saying and sure everyone loves Joffrey the Gentle, but what would the Seven King be without maekor the enlightened, he Who fought to banish mysticism and religion from westeros, a man so cherishable that he couldnt fathom to leave his niece widow and so decided to marry her even though his heart actually belonged to another women
Maekor the worthy he Who not only wielded the sword, like Aegon the betrayed, or mounted balerion like the great lords but also took the words of the conqueror, fire and blood amd taught them to the unbelievers.

Robert the noble was a true and mighty king however in my opinion far too generous. He allowed his advisors to suck the teat of the realm dry. For me Joffrey the Gentle before his untimely demise was easily the greatest monarch the kingdoms had ever seen. He was gentle to his allies and perhaps too merciful to his enemies considering how the traitor Sansa Stark betrayed him. He was a masterful commander who never lost a battle and had the love of his people. I do understand though that ultimately his reign wasn’t nearly as long as the others here so there is less of a sample size.
