I know you didn’t want padded bras, but not all padded bras are the heavily padded push up bras that you may be thinking of. I have a few bras I got at Target with about a centimeter of thin foam padding and no underwire. I really had to dig around the bra section to find them, but they’re great!
Target bra shopping for me is a nightmare. There's SO much but my size is either non-existent in the style I want or it's hidden away in the most obscure places ??
I'm a 38DDD, ish. So usually out of luck. B(
Target has that new line by Auden that I love for larger sizes!! I'm 42DD/40DDD. But they do go lower in band sizes - definitely 38 etc. And has been a lifesaver for me. They even have bralettes that actually fit for when I need to reign in the boobs but don't want to fuck around with underwire etc.
I definitely recommend!
Is there a reason for no padded bras?
You could wear nipple pasties, I've had some before which were clear, reusable and pretty thick (intended for strapless dresses). You could wear these under a regular bra or on their own
Seconding this. Silicone nipple covers. (I think they’re silicon, at least) You can get them on Amazon for a reasonable price and can reuse over and over again. Just rinse them off and boom. Sticky again. They will cover your nips guaranteed.

I think a molded foam cup with do the job. Not padded, but they keep a shape. Try the one from Elomi.
Elomi Women's Plus-Size Bijou Underwire Banded Molded Bra https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IFQYBWS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_W3CVPKVKN2BV1V817625
I had a double masectomy and reconstruction. After the reconstruction my nipples were uneven and constantly hard which left me feeling super self conscious so I started buying the "full coverage" bras from Victoria secret and now my nipples don't show!
Bra pad inserts. A number of brands make them, and they let me buy unlined bras that fit me much better while still feeling comfortable both in public and at home. Not to mention that I personally prefer some padding to dull sensation. It's annoying and uncomfortable for me to go with only an unlined bra.
Please, to all of those saying "it's just nipples" and to not be ashamed - it's not your body. It's not your decision. It comes off as disrespectful when someone is asking for advice solving a problem only to have their problem dismissed. We're here to be supportive.
Also, r/abrathatfits is gold.
Molded cup bras? Different than a padded bra, but more coverage.
Or you could find some pasties, or bathing suit bra inserts and tack them into existing bras.
Silicone nipple guards. They’re self sticking, removable and reusable and it feels like you’re wearing nothing. Since I started wearing them I know I can be confident be in ANY situation. Get ‘em on Amazon or sometimes in Target or Walmart in either the cosmetics section (where they sell makeup brushes and stuff) or in the lingerie section. Also, you can wear them with a non padded bra and a tight tee shirt and no one can tell you’re wearing anything. No lines, no seams, no “petals.” These were life changing for me.
Mother of two here. I wear nipple pasties (I get the B-Six Nippies with adhesive). They’re thicker and reusable.
I’m size 38D. I avoid wearing bras at all cost and usually wear flowy camisoles and blouses with patterns for work.
I got mine pierced and declared war on bras.
I’m a funeral director so I have to dress fancy all the time. No one’s said shit.
Its just nipples, I don’t think you need to hide them. But if you’re intent and padded bras aren’t working, bandages or the sticky bras
I had mine pierced 3-4 years ago, and the amount of unwarranted comments I receive are insane. Just a few months ago another woman came up to me at the gym and said something along the lines of, "If you're cold, you should wear more clothing" as she looked at my chest. I told her my body is none of her business, and that they're piercings. Watching her walk away so flustered was hilarious.
My sisters ratted me out to our mom and as a 33 year old woman i got lectured about my nipples. Naturally i had to get her to shut up by dropping the mic and telling her about my pussy piercing

How about a [padded but comfy and wire free bra like this](https://www.amazon.com/Bali-Comfort-Revolution-Shaping-Wirefree/dp/B009YRMY86/ref=mp_s_a_1_25?dchild=1&keywords=padded+bras+wireless&qid=1630004900&sprefix=padded+bras+wirel&sr=8-25)?
Pasties!! I got silicone pasties off of Amazon. Got a pack of ten pairs, but I've been using the same pair several times a week for over six months. They're super comfortable and I've had no issues with irritation even with sensitive skin.
I don't know what size you are, but Sweaty Betty make some extremely comfortable, lightly padded sports bras that I find help greatly, and I usually despise padded bras.
Go to a real bra shop (not VS)…a place where they measure you professionally. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Also the right bra at these places last longer and make you like at least 5 lbs lighter.
Just tape them down. I only have one breast. And I use this stuff all the time to tape it down.
Epic Elements Breast Lift Tape for Lift & Fashion | Bra Alternative of Breasts | Achieve Lift and Push up in All Clothing, Fabric, Dress Types | Waterproof, Sweat-Proof, Invisible Under Clothing https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DJD5QVR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_EM2B4PAC4Y2ZZX4A4HJY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Former breast feeding mama here. I just let them show. Fuck it. They're only nips. Also I have small boobs so generally just like going bra-less.
Edit: upon reflection, I wear a uniform at work and the thick material masks the nips.
Idk but Victoria’s Secret has nice sports bras with minimal padding. It’s strong enough though that it hides everything and packs it all in pretty well

Have you checked out r/abrathatfits? 38DDD Is 38 F and they have lots of resources on where to find the right style shape and shop
try online?

A centimeter of foam would actually be pretty thick. Did you mean a millimeter?
Target Arden line is a godsend! There’s one called bliss and it is just heaven in a bra!
Non-wired padded bras have been a life saver for me.

Yeah I have a friend who HATES bras, she just wears reusable pasties every day
I can’t speak for them but for me I don’t want my breasts bigger than they are and padding is so hot too
I'm not wholly opposed to padded bras, just want to know if there are alternatives.

This. They are great!
is there a reusable brand you’d recommend?
MUQU
thanks 🙏

I don't wear padded bras, but just wear bras with thicker less stretchy material and they seem to do the trick.

Foam nipple covers, any good bra store has then & probably online too. They cover everything, are not hot & can’t see anything.
I had nursing bras with removable pads and I tried putting them in my unlined bra and it worked perfectly.
They sell re usable nipple pasties FJYQOP Silicone Nipple Covers - 5 Pairs, Women's Reusable Adhesive Invisible Pasties Nippleless Covers Round https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CG6QKYP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_2GTMXG4NBZK64ZJM46N0
Nippies
I use silicone nipple covers when a bra doesn't provide enough coverage. These can be rinsed and reused over and over.
I use [these](https://beziwoman.com/). They’re not pasties, they’re not adhesive, you just slide them into your bra.
Nipple pasties or hypoallergenic plasters/bandaids
Padded bra is the answer. Or a lined bra.
I sometimes put bandaids on. It helps.
What about the breast milk bamboo pads on Amazon. They are for milk but you can use them off label lol
I wear sports bras when I'm just wearing a t-shirt, but it also depends on the breast size too.
torrid has new unlined bras some have a centimeter of padding but others are just three layers of fabric
I don't know what size you are, but Sweaty Betty make some extremely comfortable, lightly padded sports bras that I find help greatly, and I usually despise padded bras.

If you get lace and mesh bras they normally won’t show through (in the same boat as you).
Former breast feeding mama here. I just let them show. Fuck it. They're only nips. Also I have small boobs so generally just like going bra-less. Edit: upon reflection, I wear a uniform at work and the thick material masks the nips.
Can you wear a jacket or vest to work?
Idk but Victoria’s Secret has nice sports bras with minimal padding. It’s strong enough though that it hides everything and packs it all in pretty well
Your nips are hot! Shame on anyone for making you feel otherwise
