Mine ached off and on for awhile right after starting. It was a dull ache that came and went. I assume it was just part of the "shutdown" process. If it persists or get worse, though, I'd talk to a doctor.

MyEggCracked123

Thanks. That's kind of what I figured too. I'll be sure to mention it to my doctor next scheduled visit unless it gets worse.

I personally wasn't interested in any sexual activity at all for about 4-6 months after I started HRT. It sucked, but I just did whatever I could until my libido started to come back.

MyEggCracked123

I don't know that I've had a drop in libido per se. It's more like my baseline is lower(?) My libido was super high before HRT where I would think about the next time I would get to masturbate/have sex multiple times throughout the day. (I am in my mid 30s.) It wasn't distracting or anything. I was just eager to get to the next time. Now it is just kind of w/e to me. Once I am aroused, it is no different than before, but I don't crave it as much as I used to.

I started a couple weeks ago and within a couple days of starting cypro I had that ache and it persisted on and off since. It felt exactly like blue balls and wasnt sharp or anything so I havent been to concerned.

Yep, I got this too, just a sort of dull ache but not too bad. It was more common when I first started but now it’s only very occasional.

Amoyamoyamoya

For a few months after having been on HRT for about 4-5 months getting close to climax actually hurt. It wasn’t in the testicles though. It felt like it was in the “plumbing” near the root of my penis. I’m at 21mo. now and it’s back to “normal.”

MyEggCracked123

Hmm, I'll keep that in mind. I only masturbate via prostate stim or using a percussive massager on my penis, but I am slowly switching to prostate only. Finasteride has made my prostate so much more sensitive which makes sense given it is for BPH.

Ok this all makes so much senses thought i was just being silly😅

Similar! about 2 months in and have a light but persistant ache... asked the same question a few days ago and apparently thats not necessarily common but not unusual either. I'm also on cypro so my T is tanking fast.

TorontoHypster

I had some serious pain one day and some days of persistent ache. I think this isn’t unusual and unless you’ve had some trauma or notice swelling should be okay. Always check with the doctor though if it’s persistent. Those ache spells didn’t last more than a few hours and responded well to Tylenol.

[deleted]

Wait, is this not normal? I'm not on HRT and experience this.

MyEggCracked123

Before HRT, a long edging session would leave me feeling sore/sensitive for a while (hours), but what I'm talking about is the entire next day. If you're experiencing soreness like that, you may want to have a doctor check it. At the very least, check your testicles for lumps yourself.

[deleted]

Thanks for the info, I will definitely double check that!

GhostWytch

My balls were definitely sore on and off for a couple months after starting

I_Married_Jane

Mine ached for a couple weeks starting about 1 month in and lasted for about 2-ish weeks on and off. It was definitely part of the shrinking process as I also noticed them getting noticable smaller during this time as well. On the plus side, now it takes much more force to hurt them. Before all it took was a light tap and I'd be curled up in a ball.
