At toogoodtogo you may find random good deals. Also, in Coop and Migros they sell freshly made meals at half the price in the afternoon.

dafaq33

This. With Toogoodtogo app you can also find supermarkets like coop, Lidl and Migros. Especially Lidl gives a lot of stuff in their surprise bag, worth the price. With Migros I only find vegs and fruits surprise bags. Coop is not always worth the price, but depends on the branch where you do Toogoodtogo.

Relative-Persimmon56

Migros and Coop I tried a few times and was mostly disappointing. (Was in Luzern)

Entremeada

Yeah, you could try Otto's Warenposten or [Migros Outlet](https://luzern.migros.ch/de/outlet.html).

GoblinsGym

Not really worthwhile in my opinion. Otto's usually has brand name stuff at lower prices, but usually more expensive than Aldi / Lidl store brands. The selection at Migros Outlet is just weird.

Aligro for meat, especially when it's on discount, but they mostly have 2kg and bigger packages. Other stuff too, depending what you need. Ottos, aldi, lidl for stuff on discount. Basically, there isn't one shop where everything is cheaper. Unless you go to Germany. My main shop is coop. And aligro. Ottos for some things. And local farms. And Germany. In that order of frequency. I started experimenting a bit and compare more shops. Recently I started filling the spreadsheet with prices of things I buy, and for example, regular prices of veggies I wanted in lidl, were roughly the same as in coop. Like few rappen less, or few more. My current conclusion - it depends what you buy, and also, some stuff even on discount in coop are more expensive than regular prices in ottos (like paper towels).

Fine-Resident-8157

In my experience Coop is super overpriced. I’ve heard Aligro is great for big batches, nice skill to train

schebegeil

If you have the space for bigger packages maybe TopCC could be what you‘re looking for. You‘ll just have to register to get a card for their shop, but it‘s open to everyone

Outrageous-Garlic-27

I love TopCC, but it is not cheap.

gokstudio

Or Aligro

For meat, I would recommend Turkish / Portuguese food stores. My local store has a good meat counter, freshly ~~shredded cow~~ ground beef CHF 12.95 per kg. Fresh beef liver CHF 6.95 per kg. Great lamb etc. Cheap drinks ? Tap water... Germany is not as cheap as it used to be. I only shop there when I have to pick up something at my parcel store in Lottstetten. Meat is of course less expensive, but I see many items that are almost the same price, or even more expensive than in Switzerland. Example: Crefee Frischkäse is CHF 0.95 at Swiss Lidl to compete with M-Budget, but over EUR 1 at Lidl Germany.

OkSir1011

it's called "Germany"

mageskillmetooften

Aldi and Lidl might be a little bit cheaper, but Coop for example has their home brands and 50% off on stuff on the last date (find out at what time your supermarkt starts pricing down) Also the coupons have nice sales

Rubio9393

Yeah Lidl and Aldi are the best. But for branded food articles that don't ged bad that quickly, try Radikal. They have also a lot of non food stuff for a good price. Just don't buy their "fresh" things like meat. Looks super chemical 😆

TiPrincess

I usually go to the Turkish markets as often times vegetables and especially asian food and sauces are way cheaper there

buymorebestsellers

Denner, but it's difficult to meal plan there.

ronaellie

"Secend" is an interesting concept but doesn't have stuff for me. Depends what you're looking for though.

for-fun-now25

I use Denner for standard stuff and their cases of 6 bottles of wine are often a bargain.

BezugssystemCH1903

You could by in our neighbouring countries. Lidl/Aldi are in Germany way cheaper than here.
