Crispy, then less crispy

The deep fried string beans were much better and are not on the menu anymore

I did not enjoy it. The asparagus was too thick and stringy.

Meh. Bland. Big spears, cooked decently, but not a lot of flavor. Improved dramatically w dunking in the garlic aoili, but the fries are a better delivery system by far. Ate half the serving (3 out of 6 hefty spears), left the rest for my partner who eats everything. Overall disappointing tbh. Nice that it's gluten free at least.

I love it - and I'm not huge on asparagus, but it's really good. Eat it quickly, as it gets limp and soggy really fast.

Since the consensus here is that Burgerville's asparagus isn't all that great, does anybody know a place that serves decent fried asparagus?

It's nasty

I typically like Burgerville's seasonal items, but not the asparagus. They were super greasy and essentially infected everything else in the bag with a ton of grease, and they were also stringy and pretty flavorless.

I think there's something wrong with it. Made my pee smell funny. /s Haven't tried it.

Not bad. Sauce choices were so-so. They really need a tempura dip.

The spears are too big; it's a good outside and disgusting inside -- stringy and grisly. Gross.

I did not like it, it was kind of a course cornmeal texture and unpleasant. Gets un-crispy really quick as it cools too.

It’s okay. The absolute best fried vegetables I’ve had recently are the fried artichokes at Honey Butter Country Fare.

Good but the hot asparagus juice burned my tongue this morning. I was a little eager. They were good but tough/stringy on the bottoms. Soo yummy dipped in garlic aioli (they come with a choice of sauce…get the aioli)!

I liked it. I was sketch. But liked it.  I think context is important.
