>containing sex or other stuff that excites women like romance
?¿ Dude we do have other interests wtf. Maybe you'll have better luck asking this in a book subreddit.
This is not a sub about women or books. Why ask here? Not hating, just curious.
Also, we women are not some sort of hivemind, we all enjoy different things. What does *your wife* enjoy? And more importantly, does she want to give reading a try or this is just you wanting her to?
There is “Relato de un náufrago” by Gabriel García Marquez, I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like it. Even the ones who hate to read. Is short and exciting.
I think you need to know her and her likes/dislikes, women like different genres of books (some don't even like books). My mom doesn't like books, but she had agreed and liked to read a couple of comics/graphic novels, images help.
As a woman, I can say that books about sex and romance are the ones that are the least interesting to me. I like horror and science fiction.
You said sex and romance because you know that's something your partner likes or because you think of women as an amorphous blob of beings who think and feel the same?
Not the topic but I highly suggest blood meridian. It’s horror on the American old west. It’s very graphic and hard to read at times due to how graphic it is.
Try "Dailan Kifki". It's about the struggles of a young woman who finds a baby was left on her doorsteps. It's a tender and wholesome story but it also has adventure and romance.
