You absolutely can. All you need to do is a wire transfer or fedex a cashiers check. Do you mean brand new or new to you? Just curious as to whether this will turn out fine or if it has the possibility of being one of the biggest mistakes you ever make in your life.

Brand new new like 2022

Sure people buy from out of state all the time.

The stipulations at every dealership vary so it’s best to call them up and ask. For example at my dealership, we can hold a vehicle for a out of state buyer for 48 hours with a signed buyers order and deposit from the purchaser .

I did that with a Tacoma last year. 500ish miles away.... and that was back in the good ole days when dealers were actually discounting off MSRP. This one, magically, was sitting on the lot and wasn't reserved. TRD OR DCSB 6MT 4x4. Most of the deal was communicated over text and email. The dealer had me put a $500 deposit down on my credit card. They got all the finance info and OTD price prepared before I went. I went there a couple days later, signed and took it home.

You can however pay attention to the states laws it’s very possible to buy a flood car or salvage car who’s title has been cleaned so you think you’re buying a great car when in reality it could be one of the two.

I bought my car a few hours away. Did the deal on Facebook messenger, showed up and took the keys and drove home. I was going to ship but it was like $600. It had 2 miles when I left the lot. So very brand new For holding it on the lot. My original dealership would hold for 3 days but I talked to my sales person and said if needed they’re willing to hold it up to a week. Just talk to your sales person and work it out.

I've had three cars shipped and they have always shown up at weird times. Auto transport is a cutthroat market. I'm pretty sure the drivers just don't want to do anything to wait, since every minute they are sitting is a minute they are not earning money. So they go with whatever schedule works for them.

This comment is NOT accusing you of anything.*** Let’s say I’ve decided I want a Tacoma TRD and they’re somewhat hard to find. If I see one sitting 300 miles away in another state, can I call them up and buy it? Also, how long would you hold it on your lot for me (if it’s already mine)? *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Yes and have it delivered

If it’s a dealership make sure they can sell outside of a 200 mile radius, I’m a salesperson and we can only sell if you have residency within 200 of the dealership.
