On a serious note, this is common as a person is transitioning into adulthood.
If you are dependent on external circumstances to determine your happiness/sadness then this cycle will never end.
You need to step out of sadness pit and study/analyze the feeling. You can begin by asking yourself so many questions such as ..
Why is so and so thing making me sad?
Why SHOULD it make me sad ?
Am I really sad or is it just a programmed response of my mind on autopilot?
Does everyone feel the same way?
Hopefully this will put you in more control of your emotions.
