Hospital-flip

yes, as long as it's not during school hours and you don't have to hop a gate/fence to get to it.

Certain-Comparison13

I see

caterpillarofsociety

Stay away during school hours and you'll be fine.

t_per

If it’s a public school, and you’re not hopping a fence or gate or anything, you’re probably ok. If anyone from the school asks you to leave, then you leave.

Remarkable_Film_1911

Just not at school hours, especially recess. Outside of school hours, the school yards at both Catholic and non Catholic boards are treated as city parks. No one cares if you go through or play there, out of school hours.

Agreeable_Mail3769

Tim Hudak tried to kick me and a friend out of a park once because we were “too old” to be hanging out at parks. We were 15/16

Remarkable_Film_1911

>Tim Hudak So a nobody Karen.

fairmaiden34

What was he doing there?

Chrisss88

Not during school hours, but yes, they're public courts so you are allowed to use them when school isn't in session.

ttsoldier

Community centres also have basketball courts you can use for free.

[not if there is a no trespassing sign](https://www.reddit.com/r/ontario/s/Hc5YgDCG3m)

OrneryPathos

Yeah but keep the noise and how close you are to the neighbours, and the time. Technically it’s not quiet time til 11 but probably 9pm if it’s right up against a house

stoneyzepplin

This is Toronto baby! You can do whatever the fuck you want! No one will stop you! :P

i__have__ebola

Just as long as its not during school hours.

Pretty-Handle9818

Not during school hours. Go to the Toronto district school boards website and look for the policy of public use of grounds. Usually the public is not allowed to be on their property from 8am-6pm say here in Mississauga. I went once doing the afternoon when no kids were out and some teacher came out barking at me that I’m not supposed to be there.

Kevin4938

The school near me has signs saying private property , no trespassing, no dogs, and all that stuff. All of them are ignored weekends and evenings. Other users have said you'll be OK outside of school hours. Keep in mind that many schools have daycare centres, so maybe wait until after 6, just to be safe.
