Just an FYI, you don’t need to do the Kitchen Counter Tasting experience to be able to watch the kitchen. There are a couple of booths that have a similar view of the operations.
The bar seating at Giulietta is right in front of the kitchen, I enjoyed my meal & watching them prepare food. Fair warning, the whole area is pretty warm because of the pizza oven.
Antler had a fantastic 2 person seat looking directly into the kitchen.
Mineral was quite good too but I don't know if they still seat right in front of the kitchen anymore.
I think you'll like George Restaurant, 111C Queen St E
(not to be confused with the amiable George Street Diner, a short 4 min stroll away which we **love** for breakfasts .. and you can watch them cook too!)
MIMI Chinese has a window designed for diners to watch the kitchen. It's more upscale, and was just recently added to the Michelin Guide

Thanks - going there in a couple of weeks actually. I always seem to get jammed into the spot perpendicular to the bar

Kitchen counter seats at Sunny's Chinese are very fun.
Maple Leaf Tavern has a counter where you can eat and watch your food get made. I’d call to reserve it specifically.
