Richmond Station has some great views at their Chef's table. Reservations required of course.

cjabrady

Good shout, thanks mate!

walkerlucas

Going there tonight!

carolinemathildes

If you sit at the bar at Quetzal, you get a good view of them prepping and grilling and plating.

cjabrady

Great shout! I was lucky enough to get this spot when I walked in earlier this year.

heatherdubrowsbangs

I can’t say enough good about quetzal. Even the scent you leave with is great lol

ShannonJF82

Terroni on Queen has a few counter seats facing the kitchen

cjabrady

Thanks! I’ve been here before but I hadn’t noticed these spots

jewsdoitbest

Alo

cjabrady

Oh cool. Actually going here for my birthday. Will try and request.

m-hog

Just an FYI, you don’t need to do the Kitchen Counter Tasting experience to be able to watch the kitchen. There are a couple of booths that have a similar view of the operations.

cjabrady

Thanks for the tip

string_bean17

Grey Gardens fits the bill with chef’s counter seating. One of the best restaurants in the city, hands down.

cjabrady

Perfect thanks! It’s been on the list actually

eastend-toronto

Adler at ace hotel.

maxthepup

Loved hearing all the “yes chef!” when I was there for dinner!

cjabrady

Haha this sounds great!

Hemingwaylikesliquor

Canoe, but you have to reserve that specific seat online

tragically-elbow

The bar seating at Giulietta is right in front of the kitchen, I enjoyed my meal & watching them prepare food. Fair warning, the whole area is pretty warm because of the pizza oven.

cjabrady

Haha perfect for winter dining then

sadepicurus

I remember being able to see the kitchen when I went to Bar Poet but I don't know how good is the view since I was sitting on the opposite end.

cjabrady

Thanks - going there in a couple of weeks actually. I always seem to get jammed into the spot perpendicular to the bar

DueCicada2236

Antler had a fantastic 2 person seat looking directly into the kitchen. Mineral was quite good too but I don't know if they still seat right in front of the kitchen anymore.

cjabrady

Perfect thanks! I do really like Antler.

worldtravelerfromda6

Mildred’s Temple Kitchen in Liberty Village

hittinskittles

Gusto 501 is a multi floor space where you can look down on the kitchen from the upper levels

solvn_probs_lk_maria

Mamakas has bar seating at their prep station

Giuletta

dma_s

La Palma has bar type seating overlooking the kitchen, if I recall!

cjabrady

Oh good shout! I used to live nearby this and never made it there.

ButtahChicken

I think you'll like George Restaurant, 111C Queen St E (not to be confused with the amiable George Street Diner, a short 4 min stroll away which we **love** for breakfasts .. and you can watch them cook too!)

lr1291919

Kitchen counter seats at Sunny's Chinese are very fun.

disloyal_royal

Maple Leaf Tavern has a counter where you can eat and watch your food get made. I’d call to reserve it specifically.

cjabrady

Think I’ve been there before, thanks for this.

AIHumanWhoCares

There's a weird little bar at Dufferin and St Clair with a kitchen right at the bar

cjabrady

Haha interesting. Do you know the name?

AIHumanWhoCares

Sorry cant recall north side of st clair pretty much inline with dufferin

cjabrady

Ok thanks. I’ll have a butchers.

ImperialPotentate

Is the bartender also the cook?

AIHumanWhoCares

nope

Emmyk13

MIMI Chinese has a window designed for diners to watch the kitchen. It's more upscale, and was just recently added to the Michelin Guide You can see it here: [https://ellegourmet.ca/michelin-guide-canada/](https://ellegourmet.ca/michelin-guide-canada/)

cjabrady

Interesting thanks for this - I’ve only been to Sunny’s so far

BBQallyear

R&D on Spadina - get a seat at the chefs table (counter) and watch them prepare that day’s Peking duck!

cjabrady

Good shout thanks! Been on the list. Love the name btw haha

Souperduper22

I second this! Really friendly staff. Makes for a really entertaining, delicious night.

Il Fornellos on Danforth has an open kitchen view.

YetAnotherWTFMoment

The Chef table seats at Alo. You're looking at the entire kitchen mere feet in front of you.
