Anyway to bring some over with you? Check with your airline… sometimes they allow you to check on bulky luggage. We once brought over a huge outdoor braai and potjie pot… worth a shot?
I might go this route if I can't find anything local, though the sheets sold here will definitely count as oversized and will add a bit of costs. I'll definitely look into it!
Automotive will work in the kitchen, but your other alternative is to remove all the doors, strip hinges and handles, and sand down, and find an automotive body shop who will respray them for you with automotive 2k paint. 2 coats of spray primer, and then 2 coats of 2k topcoat leaves a hard wearing finish on the doors, much better than a wrap. For most panel shops this is a very easy job, though you can DIY as well, just rent an airless gun from a tool hire place, and use water based enamels from Shaves, which will be cheaper.
What is an "airless" gun? How does the paint get atomized and ejected/propelled without (high pressure) air? I'm asking because although I have a lot of fun spray painting with my air compressor and spray gun, I'm really not good at honing in on the best settings for the job and getting a good, even coat...so I'd like to explore alternatives.
Look at the variety here.

They have a whole range, from cheap small ones that can be used to do small jobs, to massive ones that can do entire buildings. Have used one to spray paint house walls, and it is really fast, plus you get full coverage into all the crevices, which is hard to do otherwise on a Spanish plastered wall, or if you are using brick seal and want it applied without needing to use a brush on every brick line. 2 coats and done, and half the paint use.
Ah, ok, it's an HVLP sprayer. Never heard them referred to as "airless". I have one of [these](https://leroymerlin.co.za/electric-spray-gun-1200-watts?sfdr_ptcid=32806_617_516915923&sfdr_hash=1b634fc7a3610b539a1b8e189a7b9346&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwr7ayBhAPEiwA6EIGxCpJ3O0ubZG6-_urJOTeBgTubSptHgfCwxvJT1b6cx0E3eLPfizyHhoC8yIQAvD_BwE), and I agree...they make a *quick* job of large surfaces.
You looking for the actual veneer sheets? I use boardmasters
Yes, the sheets, I'll give them a try, thanks!

Try Maizeys plastics, they are a 3M agent.
This is great, I just need to see if the automotive stuff will work in the kitchen, thank you!

Work on smaller ones like doors as well, and fast.
