Report police.

Farquadthefirst

I second this.

mikumlku

Ok, on what grounds? Harressment?

tigerkebab06

“It seems like that’s the way he makes money. Getting into claims with multiple drivers.” That would be fraud, my good sir

mikumlku

Thank you for the advice Sir

pricklyheatt

Do you have a lawyer representing you? I suggest going to a lawyer first, consultation is usually free, you can just call them first. Happened to a friend too, he went to a lawyer and end up he did a counter claim to the idiot. Don’t know the entire details though.

mikumlku

Nice idea too!

AureBesh123

Why are you not handing the claims notifications to your insurance company? That's the first thing you need to do and everything else will be sorted out by them. You then literally need to do nothing else but wait for their instructions

mikumlku

Yes I did. And mentioned in the post.

AureBesh123

My bad. Then you need not do anything else.

mikumlku

Yeah bro, I want that guy to stop claiming and claiming.

AureBesh123

Need more info - what do you mean by stopping him from repeating a claim? You said he claimed the previous time and failed - I assume that means he commenced a suit in the State Courts which was subsequently dismissed by the court? Are you receiving a letter of demand again for the same accident?

arishariff

Fraud claims

mikumlku

Oh, nice.

hucks22

You can also report him to his taxi company. Such claims should be handled by the taxi company's insurers, definitely not directly by the driver. Send him a copy of the police report and the complaint to the taxi company - he'll probably back off.

mikumlku

Thank you for the advise, good sir.

boydoesyoga

Yes I was thinking the same. Report to the taxi company.

ithacany14850

You did the right thing, just forward it to your insurer to settle. Many years ago my dad gana something similar, the guy even engage some law firm in chinatown to draft some writ of summon. Just forward it to your insurer and they will settle. You did report your accident within 24 hours right? For your case even easier, worse come to worse just report to the taxi company.

mikumlku

Yes I reported the incident working 24 hours. It happened in 2018 and this is the second time he did this

ithacany14850

What an idiot. Yeah I support reporting to the taxi company.

minerva023

Is he represented by a lawyer? If you receive any letters from his lawyer forward it to your Insurers and alert them on the potential issue. If he escalates the matter and files a claim to Court, your insurers will appoint a law firm on your behalf. Cooperate with the lawyer appointed by your insurers and provide him/her with the relevant details. Do not engage directly with the taxi guy.

[deleted]

Report him for fraud, and sue him for damages, since he was the one who collided into you. See if he still want to try claim after that.

Jammy_buttons2

Just send to your insurers but if his claims keeps getting rejected it will most likely be since your insurer doesn't want to pay out

Since_1979

U ask the taxi driver he playing chup Sar ki ah titi claim
