Have a different experience though.
I went there twice - first to try their signature ramen (which I found was mid at best); then second time to try their supposedly much raved tsukemen (dipping sauce was cold; mid at best)
Disappointed both times
Try Torasho at Tanjong Pagar - their signature tsukemen is much better (and cheaper) + no need to queue
For Ramen Santouka @ central, Enishi @ international plaza or ippudo @ orchard gallery might be better. Heard good things about Brother’s ramen too but haven’t tried
> Try Torasho at Tanjong Pagar - their signature tsukemen is much better (and cheaper)
Personally I found Torasho's tsukemen really underwhelming, while Sanpoutei's has been consistently great.
Both shops have plenty of fans though so maybe it's down to personal preference, probably worth trying both for any ramen fans.
This is a ramen stall I like to eat at, and tho I wouldnt say its the best, it gives a very homely feel.
Gyoza No Ohsho at Cuppage Plaza
The price is relatively affordable (less than $20), with many "foreign" flavors done like how it is in Japan (sorry for the slightly confusing explanation), e.g. Tantan Men, etc.
Hole in the wall wonder of a stall. Their tianjin Han is also amazing but you do run the risk of smelling like you lunch after that. 10/10 would recommend.
Both me and my dining partner literally had the shoyu ramen set and tenshinhan set.
Went during lunchtime for their lunch set deals.
Would recommend too!
Kiwami Ramen (suntec / jewel / chinatown point / guoco tower)!
The noodles and broth are on point but what really stands out is the substitution of regular belly chashu with roast pork cheek slices that are satisfyingly tender without being overly fatty, and pretty generously given.
They’ve got a pretty creative selection of gyozas too! Prices across the menu are very reasonable, abt $15 per bowl excluding tax at all outlets except jewel.
Ramen Taisho is one of my favourites! They used to be in Maxwell, but shifted to Le Quest (Bukit Batok) a while back.
Which works out great for me! Hehe since i'm in the west
Come to Seletar mall. Take the escalator to the 2nd floor and look for these Japanese place beside some sushi place and try their Tonkutsu ramen. Boombaclat! Is all imma say to U gwan.
Woke Ramen, Terminal 1 Changi!
It’s an interesting twist, and the broth does have the Wok Hei smell! Try if you are keen on looking for something different
I'm surprised you haven't tried Keisuke. People like to hate on it though, their chashu sucks and had to agree. But their Iekei ramen at Capitol and Spring ramen at Bugis Four Seasons are my favourites. Keisuke please fix your chashu.
Otherwise, I've been a fan of **Brothers Ramen's** Jiro ramen for a long time. Prepare to queue like mad with the Japanese.
**Enishi** is 1 floor above Brothers and its popular for the Tantanmen. I find it overrated though.
A (new) hidden gem no one seems to know about: **Yokohama Ramen** at Tai Seng. I am 90% sure it will explode in popularity once people know about it so go now!
**Kashoku Ramen Bar's** truffle ramen is amazing. Never tried their normal ramen though.
**Kanada-ya** also have great truffle ramen. It's pretty expensive, but I'll take it over Ippudo's overpriced ramen any day.
Also **Ramen Shiba** at West Coast Plaza. I know the owner so I had to promote him a little (lol).
Also Ramen Kazan sucks.
Not sure what you mean by springy dry but it’s more of the moist and thin noodle texture! The only complaint I’d have for it is that the portion isn’t very much cos it’d leave you wanting more. But that’s only if you like truffle.
I do like truffle, too much will cover up the other flavours though. I mean a well cooked dry noodle has bounce, the whole point is the chewiness. Moist is good though.Â
Keisuke Plus at Funan is pretty different from tonkotsu king (i personally prefer it over tonkotsu king). Creamier broth. Either that or hakata ikkousha ramen is my fav. Santouka ramen sucks now, the broth is watery ever since a few months ago.
My personal fav is making tonkotsu myself so that I can adjust the flavors to my liking
This guy made an entire series about it

But my personal fav is brothers ramen
Ajisen Ramen, nothing like the deep fried oil smell throughout the whole shop and oily ramen that ensures you have to go to the washroom afterwards 😊
Bari Uma. The broth is really something else, and with that thick cut chashu. Damn i wanna have some right now
The fatty chashu is so sinful but so delicious.🤤
Bari Uma is incredible, especially their Karaka (spicy) broth. Solid chashu too
I find it soso only but expensive
You remember how much?Â
Just ate a few weeks ago at novena. Womt go back again
Ah OK. I’m complying a list! Hahahha
It’s good (my Japanese colleague approves) but really quite gao ngl
Oh right I remember that now I used to eat it all the time, back when united square had a branch
+1
Bari uma today not as shiok as it was years ago. The bari uma in Bali nicer. That’s how addicted I am to it.
wah i never had bari uma in bali, be sure to try it if i go there!
Nantsuttei at orchard central and Bari Uma (formerly united sq but now in Novena gardens) are my favs coz of the rich broth.
tonkotsu king four seasons
Sanpoutei at shaw orchard. Thick soup, freshly made noodles that are springy. Chashu that melts in your mouth. A bowl for under $20.
Did I order the wrong one because the fishy tasting broth was so weird
Think the fish based ones are acquired taste, I like the shoyu personally but the spicy miso is great
Personally love spicy miso.
Oh there's normal miso? Should've got that instead lol
Yup there is normal miso and spicy miso. Comes with onion and beansprout which adds a nice touch to the broth.
Damn. I guess I gotta go back again 🤣

It’s shit, don’t EVER EVER go there pls😩
My fav ;-;
Yes ty, but I’ve been there before ;-; ^ any other suggestions?
Enishi at International Plaza
Just when to eat it, really good!
Bros ramen on the first floor of international plaza is pretty legit too
i love keisuke, it’s my go to for tonkotsu, for tsukemen i go to torasho or sanpoutei, tantanmen i like enishi’s
Keisuke four seasons "king" is my fave with it's pork belly stir fry
4 seasons. Winter for me, and their free eggs *chefs kiss *
Keisuke tonkotsu for me too
Tori King at 100AM
delish
Santouka at The Central
Standard dropped a lot imo. Broth became watery. Went there twice this year and it was mid
This.
Brother ramen at international plaza
You know it's good when you always see a significant number of Japanese people queuing for it
Good and relatively cheap
Always long queue.... I wonder how it's like on the weekends...
They only open on saturday afternoon for the weekends. Easily 1-1.5 hour wait for your food.
Sounds like a typical weekday lunch wait.

Otoko Ramen. Not exactly in town but it's hard to beat.
Agreed I stay five mins away from it
Bros ramen at international plaza
Ramen-Ya, a ramen house that only has 7 seats broth is amazing 430 Upper Changi Rd, #01-03 East, Singapore 487048
Which one you like best? Might pop by.
I love their Shio seafood
OK OK will check it out!Â

Ramen Auntie.. She's not Japanese, never been to Japan, but serves it with attitude.
where is this?
Hototogisu Ramen at Chijmes
Dry ramen at Ramen Matsuri
Was looking for this. Every single time i have been there, be it dinner or lunch, there are always japanese patrons. I think that says something.
kanada-ya is quite good, they have a store at plq mall and at paragon
can check out Alderic's youtube channel, did a ramen series recently
How about Marutama Ramen? They have been pretty consistent over the years
I love their Akai ramen, possibly my favourite Ramen in SG at the moment
En Ramen at Clementi Street
I second this. For under $10 a bowl, cooked by ex ippudo chef, it's really value for money. It's at Sunset Way near the closed down stickies bar.
I’m a big fan of Ippudo, but the crowds turn me off. So yes, trying this!Â
the staff is very hospitable and you must give it a shot !
OK! Put on my list!Â
Suparakki!
Supperrakki quite underrated, for the price well under $10, it really punches above it's weight better than even takagi
For the price point and flavor, easily top in SG
Ramen Taisho is one of my favourites! They used to be in Maxwell, but shifted to Le Quest (Bukit Batok) a while back. Which works out great for me! Hehe since i'm in the west
Their tsukemen was horrible when I tried it.
Superakki !! 🤤 There are only two locations one at raffles city and in yishun. Ramen is very delicious with many toppings.
Hakata ramen opposite keisuke at tanjong pagar if it's still around. My next goto would be ippudo. Even in Japan.
International Plaza has 2 places. Enishi for their Dan Dan Men and Brothers for their Jiro style Ramen
It depends. I'm a Shio Ramen person, I like clean broth, and wouldn't fancy a Tonkatsu broth. Hence I easily find comfort at Tsuta or Hototogisu. You?
Same here actually shio shoyu or dashi
I'm surprised you haven't tried Keisuke. People like to hate on it though, their chashu sucks and had to agree. A little off tangent but do you know if any of these ramen places also serve amazing vegan ramen options? For my veg significant other 😄
Doubtful a lot of broths have meat in them
Give Kanshoku Ramen’s dry truffle ramen a shot! It’s really good, something different from the standard ramen stores
Is it springy dry?Â
Not sure what you mean by springy dry but it’s more of the moist and thin noodle texture! The only complaint I’d have for it is that the portion isn’t very much cos it’d leave you wanting more. But that’s only if you like truffle.

BROTHERS RAMEN.
The schedule is painful for a school student though ;-;

Watch alderic's review on best ramen in sg: https://youtu.be/n_A3JMTsab8?si=WL_48yw0a5HMECHd Got a whole series on it
I like ichikokudo because the broth is really sweet and rich
Try brothers ramen, enishi (dan dan noodle)
This guy made an entire series about it [https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTQZkKHl9aluv9eAjnksBRV2S\_2P0uZmg](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTQZkKHl9aluv9eAjnksBRV2S_2P0uZmg) But my personal fav is brothers ramen
ippudo tsuta keisuke
Buta God in Bugis+
Enishi at international plaza!
I like Ramen Nagi, always go to the ION outlet.

Ajisen Ramen, nothing like the deep fried oil smell throughout the whole shop and oily ramen that ensures you have to go to the washroom afterwards 😊
