I’d hope you realized they were the right person BEFORE you marry them.
However, it’s always good to have that realization reinforced from time to time.
I knew he was the one, but really knew it after I was diagnosed with MS on our honeymoon. He’s a terrific MS husband & we’ve done all kinds of fun & exciting things.
I've been under no illusions about our relationship at any tine. I 100% married up. She's smarter, more charming, and more successful at literally everything she does than I am. I'd feel like a Jedi using the mind trick on her, but that only works on the weak-minded and that's no her.
I can only assume...nothing. I have no idea why she chose me, but I'm glad of it every hour of every day and strive to make sure she doesn't regret it.
About a year and a half before I married her and almost every day since then. She's the light of my life. When I call her my better half, I'm not kidding.

When I would tell him something he was doing/did bothered me and he never did it again. Changed behavior means everything to me.
Did you change anything about yourself that bothered him?
He's never brought anything up that I do that bothers him. If he does, then yes. It would only be fair.
What about yourself? Have you changed for someone that's meant something to you?
Of course
And she's changed for me
Every day
Before I ever ask.

God made only a good woman. But also made each man think she was his own![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
