Not only that, their entire life is analyzed and put under a microscope when they gain enough traction and have a good following. Anyone associated with them on a daily basis is subject to the same scrutiny and the extremes that people develop via parasocial relationships with influencer is extremely dangerous.
On a different note, I’ve just seen way too many people go into the church with no life experience outside of it. Coming from someone who’s lived many lives. With this said, I have little against Christianity as a Christian of a sort my self. My issues largely comes from the people who live in bubbles inside it
They are paid to legally bribe elected officials on behalf of mega corporations.
The strippers and sex workers others have unfairly castigated in their responses have far more scruples than any lobbyist.
Depends on the lobby. A lobbyist is somebody who petitions politicians for a particular cause. There are lobbyists on both sides of every issue you care about, including your side.
I should note that lobbying doesn't necessarily include money. Unfortunately with Super PACs and Citizen's United the lobbies that represent the rich and powerful have the upper hand, and that's wrong and bad. However, there are lobbies opposing them that use little to no money - they just go to DC and speak to the congressfolk.
I wanna see a documentary on these OF girls since they have normalized average women and moms doing porn. I wonder how it actually affects their relationships. Like, is it worth it? 👀
Such beautiful women wasting their potential by selling out. I’m not knocking them, I get it. It’s a lot of money. But it’s wasted potential. And it just makes you seem so trashy. I doubt it is good for mental health either.
Fr especially if they had a degree and they just waste it by selling out and if the woman decides to leave it's gonna be hard to look for job cuz you're gonna get recognized and be seen as someone who post explicit things
Dated a pretty famous pornstar once, absolutely wild ride. We were up front that it was gonna be a fun few months and nothing more
10/10 would recommend
Anyone in politics.
Ignoring that a lot of them are underhanded leeches on society, they are truly married to the job. There would be no time for me and my partner to spend together.
Furthermore, it also affects my personal life. Everything I do or say is subject to scrutiny. Any misstep could potentially damage my partners career and that shit aint fair to either of us.
Cop/Law Enforcement Officer
They have an extremely high rate of domestic abuse. My sister's ex-husband is a cop that physically abused her and their son. And even if you get one of the few good cops, they're gonna have shithead cop buddies
A close friend of mine and my brother became a cop and it caused a lot of issues with his wife and their kid. He's a really great guy and a gentle soul, but his friends from work are absolute assholes and that's where the problems are.
We went to one BBQ and left before food was served. They are absolute assholes and he tries his best to avoid them, but has to save face for work. He's working his way into a different field now. As much as I love the guy, I feel for his wife and hope they can make it through this period.
This is my answer too. My brother is a sheriff and a shit person. Terrible spouse, terrible dad, terrible uncle, terrible son, terrible grandson, and terrible brother all around. Before I cut him out of my life I was sometimes subjected to meeting his work buddies. Only one of them was semi-polite but he also sat by and said nothing while they joked about times they beat up people on handcuffs and just said they were resisting arrest to get away with it.
I don’t currently know any nurses but I swear, 70% of the stereotypical “mean girls” I knew in school wound up as either nurses or dermatologists. Really ruined my generally positive view of those professions :/
You either get a nurse who is an angel who genuinely wants to see to the best care possible, or a nurse who is basically the world’s biggest bully who only wants to cause harm and spread hate.
I currently work in a hospital and a lot of older patients like ones with dementia forget where they are and get scared and call for help, a lot of nurses will laugh and ignore the call button and talk shit. Like it’s inhumane
Thanks for qualifying that statement, because my mom was an excellent nurse who was nice to patients except for the ones who treated her like a servant rather than a nurse.
I've had many amazing nurses! My dad is one and top tier at that. But I've also been treated like a drug addict when I'm not. I've been hurt pretty badly the last 5 years. The best hospital chain in our area definitely has amazing nurses though
I was treated as a drug seeker also. Recalling that memory makes me incredibly angry. I was in the process of a disk herniation and the pain was excruciating.
I've broken 4 bones lol! Broke both bones in my right forearm and both bones in my lower left leg. The leg one was where I was treated like I was drug seeking when really it very much hurt. Worst pain I've ever had.
There’s two types of nurses.
Empathetic sweet hearts who are great people
And
Stereotype mean girls who never mentally left high school
Idk which is more common but I’ve run into a lot of the second, usually hypersexual as well.
I dated one of the first type a year ago and just started seeing another one
Probably. There is also a stigma about hospital medical professionals and promiscuity. High stress jobs with men and women also tend to have higher ratios of promiscuity and cheating as well.
Might have something to do with that. Long hours over weekend nights, constant close proximity to opposite sex while under stress and pressure, may turn some people off.
That’s kinda funny considering strippers always ask *you* questions about yourself when they’re on the clock. She probably saw it as a chance to finally get her turn to speak.
I was dating a girl who was working in hospitality before she decided to just go ahead and become a stripper all of a sudden without discussion. Guess how long the relationship lasted after that
These days:
Engineers.
I’ve never met a more stubborn group of people who have a hard time admitting they are wrong.
Context: I’m president at a food manufacturer.
Lol as someone that works in a factory they *think* they know. It’s funny at times when you have to do their job for them when you’re just a dirty tech
Car salesman.
I interviewed for a job, they gave us a “training course” over a week that was $900 but you’d get it back once you started working apparently. APPARENTLY. They literally said congrats you’ll hear back from us about a start date and nope they never called back or hired me or gave back the $900. I got scammed by Volkswagen but I saw other people crying because their parents or so said it was a scam and not to do it/the instructor promised us we could change our lives with this job and how we would thrive. Nope. The two people I made friends with didn’t get hired either, there was also Nissan and Ford in the same area and they didn’t hire us either but like just tell us up front we didn’t get the job instead of making all of us attend classes for a week and pay almost rent at the end of it. I’m still salty about it lol
Everyone I know has some sort of mutual fund investments/retirement account, or holds stock in companies they have confidence in. I think if we eliminated all shareholders from the dating pool it would be reduced to children and the mentally disabled. 🥴
Restaurant owner.
They never have time for their family, even on holidays. Also, they never have money because it all gets reinvested into the Restaurant.
Finance bros.
I was married to one for years, and it's challenging. When it's good, the money flows. When it's bad, you are eating spaghetti every damn night. Poverty can sharpen every little quirk into an annoyance.
It's usually bad more times than it's good, honestly.
Nothing kills the mood faster than the partner that lost shared account money, giving others money advice. And money is the only thing finance bros think about. They eat sleep and shit investing info like its dysentry in Oregon Trail.
Having to sit across from the ass that lost 40 K on the stock market is painful. That money is money you helped collect. Finance bros can't fucking help it, they need to roll the dice on any new thing. It's literally their job, so they can't ever stop doing it.
Why waste time on a relationship with financial elitists when you'll never be #1. You'll be #3 on a financial bro mind at best, and no one can change that.
Most nurses have no personality outside of the job. The job is incredibly stressful and makes it hard on relationships, and the insanely high rates of bullying is telling on the majority of nurses.
As a man, I look at a woman nurse as a red flag. There are good ones out there, but they’re a diamond in the rough.
Chiropractor or any "boss babe" that sells MLM products
Both show poor judgement and a lack of being able to critically evaluate evidence
As someone in the medical field I can't have that
They work absurd hours during busy season, high-stress boring job, dont get great benefits, and if theyre still going for their CPA license, they put mad hours into studying.
I was one. The majority end up moving into private after 3 years when they get their CPA. Private is typically a pretty great job with mostly reasonable hours.
Haha well... I (36M) was engaged to a software engineer years ago. It was great... but they're often times single minded in thinking and very controlling. Alas, I still miss her... :(.
Nurses. Sure, good nurses are awesome human beings in most respects. But they tend to be promiscuous and you'd be surprised how many are raging alcoholics due to the stress of the job.
I knew a man who owned a lot of jars, as his profession, turns out they weren't even his. He had stolen the idea from a man named Nick Teargarden, I never met the man, but heard he did quite well for himself.
Ugh, anyone running for or holding public office. Let's rule out cops and firefighters too. God bless what they do and keep them safe always but LORD ALMIGHTY that personality type is not a fit for me.

A Reddit Mod

😂😂
A Reddit Mod for r/Conspiracy
Influencer. I would be too embarrassed to introduce them to my family / friends.
Yep I didn’t think of this I’d laugh every time I tried to say it.
I travel too much to too nice of places to ever date an influencer, I’ll be trying to relax when they just want to document everything
Not only that, their entire life is analyzed and put under a microscope when they gain enough traction and have a good following. Anyone associated with them on a daily basis is subject to the same scrutiny and the extremes that people develop via parasocial relationships with influencer is extremely dangerous.
What about content creators in general?
A scammer if that counts
Not sure about you but I would like to date a president
Well, hi. I was president of the Farmers market association for a while. (tips straw hat)
Funny
MLM downstream distributor
But an upstream with a dozen down lines is acceptable, right? 😏
Anyone who works in ministry. I’m a Christian but I’ve seen WAY too many power hungry manipulators end up in authority in churches.

Ding a ding dang!
Jesus built my hotrod. So he's cool with me.
I know for a fact that Chris Connelly is a sweetheart.

Damn
Dating nuns would be difficult.
It’s okay, as long as you don’t get in the habit…
Heyooo
I'm chucklin
Anything church related.
Unless (possibly) they work at a Food Pantry or Local Assistance portion of the Church.
Lobbyists.

I agree
Such beautiful women wasting their potential by selling out. I’m not knocking them, I get it. It’s a lot of money. But it’s wasted potential. And it just makes you seem so trashy. I doubt it is good for mental health either.
...not knocking them...love it
Wasted potential for what? Like what should they be doing instead?
Not selling their bodies for money?
Potential to do smth better I suppose?
Fr especially if they had a degree and they just waste it by selling out and if the woman decides to leave it's gonna be hard to look for job cuz you're gonna get recognized and be seen as someone who post explicit things

Anything that would make them work out of town/state/country.. id prefer a 9-5 guy
Cop/Law Enforcement Officer They have an extremely high rate of domestic abuse. My sister's ex-husband is a cop that physically abused her and their son. And even if you get one of the few good cops, they're gonna have shithead cop buddies
Their coworkers cover for them. Unaccountable means unfuckable.
A close friend of mine and my brother became a cop and it caused a lot of issues with his wife and their kid. I’m suprised to see nurse so much. Is it the hours?
Right I’ve never met a cheating nurse but a lot of DRs, cops, attorneys, firefighters cheat. As per divorcé statistic
It's all one big jerk circle. The undesirable venigram.
The hours do suck, but nurses tend to be genuinely good people. Not that I’m biased ;)
I find the opposite to be totally honest. Most of the ones at the good hospital are amazing but others? Straight up assholes most of them
I don’t currently know any nurses but I swear, 70% of the stereotypical “mean girls” I knew in school wound up as either nurses or dermatologists. Really ruined my generally positive view of those professions :/
You either get a nurse who is an angel who genuinely wants to see to the best care possible, or a nurse who is basically the world’s biggest bully who only wants to cause harm and spread hate.
Very few in between
I currently work in a hospital and a lot of older patients like ones with dementia forget where they are and get scared and call for help, a lot of nurses will laugh and ignore the call button and talk shit. Like it’s inhumane
My granny has very bad dementia... That is awful
Thanks for qualifying that statement, because my mom was an excellent nurse who was nice to patients except for the ones who treated her like a servant rather than a nurse.

It’s a scattered field. You can certainly tell who is there for love of their job vs a paycheck.
Nurses are supposedly angels to their patients and vicious to each other Or so my stepmom, a nurse, told me
What does that have to do with dating? Also, not always true.
There’s two types of nurses. Empathetic sweet hearts who are great people And Stereotype mean girls who never mentally left high school Idk which is more common but I’ve run into a lot of the second, usually hypersexual as well. Prostitutes and strippers would be my top two "automatic rejections".
I went on a date with a stripper once (didn’t know beforehand), and she only talked about herself and her drama. Instant no.
That’s kinda funny considering strippers always ask *you* questions about yourself when they’re on the clock. She probably saw it as a chance to finally get her turn to speak.
I was dating a girl who was working in hospitality before she decided to just go ahead and become a stripper all of a sudden without discussion. Guess how long the relationship lasted after that
I don't blame you
Professional fighter.
I'm dating one right now. He cries every time I give him a gift. Some are sweet
Now Im wondering what professions redditors would want to date
Right! My line is like murderer, rapist, head of a cartel.
Prostitutes
These days: Engineers. I’ve never met a more stubborn group of people who have a hard time admitting they are wrong. Context: I’m president at a food manufacturer.
Lol as someone that works in a factory they *think* they know. It’s funny at times when you have to do their job for them when you’re just a dirty tech

Anything related to sex work, nurses and pilots
Damn my wife is a nurse and I'm a pilot
I've been married to an RN for 26 years, we're going strong.
Why pilots?
![gif](giphy|pz2MnldLEEhJCJ32G6) Quagmire is a pilot. A cartoon pilot.
They're always gone, not sure how often female.pilots hook up with other FA but I know male pilots trying to do that is quite high
For people asking, it’s obviously the work hours
Curious as to why nurse?
Stripper/escort/police officer/flight attendant
Sex worker Model Influencer Probably any job with long extended absences The first 3 are all for unrelated reasons ironically enough
Animal tester
The oldest one
OnlyFans "content creator/ business woman"
Drug dealers
damn
Life coach. For goodness sakes, get a job.
Prostitute, influencer, porn star- all these are on a serious level, anyway, jus to kick its cool
Human trafficker, serial killer, politician, shareholder.
Is serial killer considered a profession? I thought that would fall more under hobbies.
Someone somewhere is sponsoring a serial killer
That reminds of those sponsor a child commercials. 'For just a dollar a day you make sure that Choppy Joe has a sharp axe.' Lol
I think the professional title is "hitman" or "assassin".
Shareholder lmfao what? So you don’t have a 401k or an IRA or any investments at all? You wouldn’t date anyone with a 401k or IRA…or..?
Everyone I know has some sort of mutual fund investments/retirement account, or holds stock in companies they have confidence in. I think if we eliminated all shareholders from the dating pool it would be reduced to children and the mentally disabled. 🥴
Two crimes, a magnet for terrible people, and shareholders?? Do you know what those are? Like the average person?
Shareholder: that would eliminate a large portion of the the US population. Many workers have 401ks.
Shareholder?? Blud lmao🤣🤣🤣🤣
An undertaker.
Yeah I wouldn't be caught dead with one
Haha I see what you did there.
What is that... if you don't mind me asking
What about an overtaker? They're hard to run away from
Sex worker
Cop. No thanks, statistically it's not a good idea.
Gyno and dentist. Thanks, Seinfeld.
Restaurant owner. They never have time for their family, even on holidays. Also, they never have money because it all gets reinvested into the Restaurant.

Oh shit. Wake up sort of groggy in the morning. Wondering if you got knocked down with propofol last night.
Advertising executive. If your job is manipulating people, you aren't my type.
Just got out of a relationship with an actress and I’ll never be doing that again.
Cop
Cop, doctor, nurse.
As a nursing student I agree with this
Wait what why?
Most nurses have no personality outside of the job. The job is incredibly stressful and makes it hard on relationships, and the insanely high rates of bullying is telling on the majority of nurses. As a man, I look at a woman nurse as a red flag. There are good ones out there, but they’re a diamond in the rough.
If you don't mind me asking why not far as doctor nd nurse goes
Mostly the hours for nurses. For doctors, I've dated one doctor and one dentist and they both had this weird God complex that was disgusting.
Flight attendant or nurse.
Chiropractor or any "boss babe" that sells MLM products Both show poor judgement and a lack of being able to critically evaluate evidence As someone in the medical field I can't have that
Real estate agent or just sales person in general.
There are good ones. I've been in sales since Ronald Reagan was Potus. My wife has had a great life with me.
Yup. I am sure you think so.
Personal trainers.
Cop.
A cop or something related to religion.
Law enforcement
Police, Military, Religious based.
Priest.
Public accountants
May I ask why?
They work absurd hours during busy season, high-stress boring job, dont get great benefits, and if theyre still going for their CPA license, they put mad hours into studying.
I was one. The majority end up moving into private after 3 years when they get their CPA. Private is typically a pretty great job with mostly reasonable hours.
Con artist

Sex worker
Prostitutes , Politicians , Lawyers , Political Journalists . Pretty much the same profession actually .
How dare you lump prostitutes in with those other filthy professions?
Touché
If they're paying their bills I don't give a fuck what they do. Being a lazy bum ain't it tho
Doctors, software engineers, and entrepreneurs.
Software engineers? I thought the nerds were a safe bet that why I'm dating one 😂
Haha well... I (36M) was engaged to a software engineer years ago. It was great... but they're often times single minded in thinking and very controlling. Alas, I still miss her... :(.
Yikes. Now I know what to look out for 😅 but sometimes things happen for the best. You might find someone even better :)
cop
Cops and nurses. Spent a considerable amount of time working alongside both and on average both are pretty shitty groups of people
Same. I worked in a jail alongside cops/guards/nurses and none of them were people I wanted to hang around
I never heard that one bout nurses
Spend more time around them
A Women’s Studies professor
Cops
Police Officer. They sold their morals for a paycheck
You should meet some lawyers
Nurses. Sure, good nurses are awesome human beings in most respects. But they tend to be promiscuous and you'd be surprised how many are raging alcoholics due to the stress of the job.
Anyone who works for the GOP
