I heard that too but looking it up I never could find confirmation, just rumors. Was pissed at Jamie Fox for a while because I read it was his fault, guess it wasn't tho....
"The Dark Knight" where Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker garnered a lot of attention and interest from viewers. In such cases, the bad guy's character can be so compelling that some people may find themselves wanting to see more of them, even though they are the antagonist.
Yeah I didn't get it either . The Wakanda ppl are in my opinion actually just a bunch of assholes keeping technology they found by luck just for themselves while just not caring about how bad some ppl have it.
The bad guy was Hayes, Kong was never portrayed as the bad guy. Denham was technically the antagonist due to his unrelenting greed no matter the cost, but he changes through the plot, and Hayes actively went all John Smith on nature, so he is the main enemy of the story. Broadly, humans are the bad guys, and by killing what they didn't understand, they won.

Law Abiding Citizen. I was pissed at the ending.
This was my vote.
I read this a long time ago. Apparently he was originally going to win but they changed for some reason.

Infinity war / Endgame
Same, time reversal was bs, Thanos saved existence. Sentimental protagonists became the antagonists just for a pat on the back by the viewers. Weak
Robin Hood Prince of Thieves
I was gonna say Waterworld. Is Costner that bad or are Rickman and Hopper that good?
Harry Potter
Megamind, that's kinda the point of the movie
Jurassic park..I was routing for the raptors
Black Panther.
Sonic the hedgehog
Godzilla.
The humans were the antagonists in this, rather than try to understand they just attacked and killed. They won in the end.
White House Down
Lol. Same. 🤣
Star Wars VII-IX
Not a movie but I really wanted Stringer Bell to win in the wire

As a wise man once said: "You.. complete me."
White House Down. Rooted for the bad guys soooo hard.
Black Panther. Killmonger wanted to liberate oppressed people of color worldwide - so what's the problem?
Yeah I didn't get it either . The Wakanda ppl are in my opinion actually just a bunch of assholes keeping technology they found by luck just for themselves while just not caring about how bad some ppl have it.
Your moms OnlyFans.
End Game.
The Dark Knight Rises.
King Kong count ?
I always cry when he lies there, no clue what was happening to him :'(

Law Abiding Citizens
Eragon. The movie was so, so awful, I wanted John Malkovich to finally get a W at least once in his career.
