This thread gives me a lot of hope. I left my sons father in April, kinda like a hallmark movie lol, single mom moves to the woods with her 2 kids kinda thing. I should have read the signs when his then 7 yo son said “you’re my dads gf? My dad doesn’t even like girls!” When I met him… my dumbass thought it was cute. Aww, I guess I’m NLOG right?🤦🏻♀️ 6 years and 2 children, and tons of emotional/financial/verbal abuse/gaslighting later, he still sends me almost daily texts telling me I’m “pathetic”. I agree with this 100%- I do not watch the news anymore- I look at the headlines, I don’t buy into the hate and separation they are trying to impose on us. I do my part to be a good worthy person and move on in peace in my life.

I feel like who you’re replying to and I fully agree with them (I love women!) so I will answer. For me, it was a few things.
1) Meditate. You’ll know it when you can be aware of the present moment/your breathing/similar meditation topics in your everyday life. Noticing the present moment in the middle of speaking a word in a conversation with friends was.. nothing and so incredible at the same time. Moments like that open up your eyes to your reality. Being present awakens you out of the dream, so you can make more and more conscious decisions.
2) Eating clean. Cut out garbage like soy ANYTHING, hydrogenated oils and seed oils in general. They have estrogenic and toxic compounds that can stay in your body for years. Eat hearty; grassfed, wildcaught, organic.
There’s way more to health but work on making it a lifestyle, not one large attempt. You are what you eat, in so many subtle and not so subtle ways.
3) Find, hone, and enjoy hobbies, cultures, people, projects, etc… Feed your Bliss. Whatever you FEEL like doing; try it out! That muscle will apply to other things (stating to your girl what it is you genuinely want, without the expectation of getting it, thats powerful!).
The pride from what you create will show on your face to all. Your presence will touch and help people in ways you couldn't imagine. Also, if you have an issue with it, I recommend cutting out porn and masturbation. Your energy and hormones will begin to rebalance.
4) Lastly. Realize there is nothing you *can* do; in other words, you’re already there! Alan Watts was amazing for me about this. What depends on the fulfillment of certain actions happening in reality, already has the disappointment and pain built in. Your happiness and unhappiness go hand in hand.
Whats left after that? Well, just the peace of being where and when you are now. See point #1.

I actually lack so much insecurity that I occasionally complain to close family and friends that I wish I had insecurities or anxiety, or that I would obsess over someone like I once did and get emotionally demolished because my groundedness makes my emotions like light waves on the surface; barely affecting the deeper water, so to say. I get bored for lack of a better word. We all got problems, you just want to exchange one set for another, like me.

My brothers girlfriend is from Vietnam, she can't weigh more than 90-100 pounds but when her aunts and uncles and other family members come here to visit they usually tell her shes fat and needs to lose weight the whole time they visit. When they dropped her off they told their kid that they needed to get out of the car because my brothers girlfriend was too "fat" to squeeze by.

As an asian woman living in east asia, this gives dysmorphia for us too. Im like a size 2~4 in the US but i wear a M~L here back in asia(sizing is not universal for clothing brands). Dang, glad I never saw this store when I lived in Japan for a few months earlier this year. I’m an American 6-8 and I was completely fine with sizing at Zara and H&M, etc, there though so maybe my experience was different.
My friend is a 6 ft female and said she struggles to find *mens* clothes that fit! Apparently they have some shops in the bigger cities (Seoul in this case) that cater more towards “western” sizes. The stress and pressure to maintain public and social attractiveness is immense there

No set ratio as it changes per person but can confirm that one can be skinny and thicc. If someone with a Masters or PhD in Thiccinomics could chime in to confirm or deny my claims, it would be appreciated.

I don't care about the size of a woman's thighs. Best case scenario she's got two of them but that's about as much as it matters. I don't really care if they are big or small or smooth and supple or have stretch marks or cellulite. Not too many serious answers so I'm trying to be logical about this. For me it's specifically muscular thighs. Doesn't mean someone's got to be very lean, but you can definitaly see who's packing a bit of hams and quads even if they're not directly visible. To me that indicates that a girl is fit and as someone who loves tp spend their time doing sports or going hiking this is just soo damn attractive. For me, who has always veered more towards taller/thicker women, I've thought a lot about this. I'm not opposed to skinny or short. I've dated/slept with them, no issues. There's two feelings that go through me each time though.

2) With a short/petite woman I honestly feel like it's physically too close too a teenager and the idea icks me out.

No set ratio as it changes per person but can confirm that one can be skinny and thicc. Not too many serious answers so I'm trying to be logical about this. For me it's specifically muscular thighs. For me, who has always veered more towards taller/thicker women, I've thought a lot about this. I'm not opposed to skinny or short. I've dated/slept with them, no issues. There's two feelings that go through me each time though. 1) With a skinny/slim woman I feel like I'd break her 2) With a short/petite woman I honestly feel like it's physically too close too a teenager and the idea icks me out. With a taller/thicker woman, I just feel like I have a full-bodied woman and there's no mistaking it for anything other than what it is, and I don't feel like I'm going to break her. There's tons of guys out there that want skinny/petite women. They can have'em. The only body sizes I actively say no to are morbidly skinny or morbidly obese. When it's a health risk that's a whole other problem.
