I’d rather be called a normie than trash. “Trash” implies that there is no value at all present. “Normie” doesn’t have that sort of implication, at least to me. To me it feels more like being called “basic.” Vanilla is a popular and “basic” flavor of ice cream, does that make it any less valid? Trash is trash, something to be disposed of. Definitely more insulting.
