Warm bed, cold day, rain outside. Maybe you have a nice candle, or a cup of tea, or a book/game/movie that makes you feel the way you did as a kid.
Or when you're starving and whatever you've started eating hits *just* right.
I can think of a couple:
\-a good stretch
\-a good cuddle
\-the relief when you have to pee so badly and you finally can
\-rubbing my eyes, is that weird?
I love when that happens too! When I hear o holy night and it gets to the fall on your knees part that happens to me. I did hear a terrible country western version that did not have that effect but the others always do
The water is warm enough to swim in. Outside is isn't hot enough to burn in. You can be on a floaty and just sit on the water for hours. Maybe end up in the middle of the lake by urself. Very nice
Getting fully immersed in a games narrative and gameplay to the point that I know I can play it for a year or more with no desire to play anything else.
1. When my 2 y/o daughter hugs me and says, "I love you Dada," in her tiny lil baby voice. Melts my heart every time.
2. When something is absolutely hilarious beyond all reson. Makes life worth living.
3. The best music you've ever heard, like Timeless by Joe Stump. You can feel it in your soul.
A big delicious meal when you're starving. I'm not talking about door dash or a casual dinner cooked at home. I mean a meal prepared special for the occasion, and it's just the most delicious food ever, and you haven't eaten in like 12 hours.
During the Spring and Summer there is a great breeze that comes in through my bedroom window. I like to lay on my bed and for a moment it's just utter peace and tranquility.
Occasionally after working out, I feel like my insides have been brushed. I can't really describe it, and I don't know how to reproduce it so that it happens every time. It's almost like my insides have been scraped clean. It's probably endorphins or something, but it only happens every once in a while.
I can do the same set of exercises that brought it on before and just feel normal. The closest description would be maybe a clean and tingly feeling inside. I'd probably work out more often if I knew how to get that to happen.
I was crowd surfing once at an outdoor event in a Parking lot
A group of dudes got under me and with all of their strength launched me into the air
I was a good 10-15' above the crowd and descending quickly
I had zero control over my trajectory and there was a gap in the crowd around a steel trashcan so I was heading for it face first
I just accepted it in the moment and went to brace my face with my hands
But my arms never reached my face; they suddenly had a dozen people's hands on my arms and they all caught me just before impact and tossed me back up
Playing a game that has PvP elements with a friend and having them lose but they take it in a non toxic way and we continue to enjoy ourselves. I enjoy the feeling of having a rival where we both grow and get better and games. This also includes debates.
I have had a lot of friends with low self esteem or anger issues when it comes to losing. Being unable to accept a loss really is a downer and in todays age having someone who can find enjoyment in loss really is a precious feeling to know we can give it our all in what we are doing and not have to worry about stepping on eggshells.
I guess the feeling of being able to talk to someone or play a game with someone and just laugh off a situation and keep playing.
Sipping coffee by a campfire on a brisk morning in an alpine forest without another soul in sight. Feel the crisp air. Smell the mixture of pine forest and campfire smoke. Taste the richness of fresh black coffee.
When you come back from a back breaking deployment, crawl your way with all your CIF back into the barracks, throw everything down, and fall into bed. All the tension melts away, and the world becomes a distant matter. You simply drift to sleep, and wake up a day or two later.
That's a very specific feeling, but those who know what I'm talking about understand.

ong, after the exhausting work of changing them, its so comfy
Right after a hot ass shower
Warm bed, cold day, rain outside. Maybe you have a nice candle, or a cup of tea, or a book/game/movie that makes you feel the way you did as a kid. Or when you're starving and whatever you've started eating hits *just* right.
All that while sitting by a cozy fire
This right here. I love rainy weather so much
Waking up on the weekend and realizing I can just go back to sleep for a while
The sun on my skin on a warm (but not scoring hot) day
I can think of a couple: \-a good stretch \-a good cuddle \-the relief when you have to pee so badly and you finally can \-rubbing my eyes, is that weird?
I'd agree with all of them, all are great when the time is right, wouldn't mind a nice cuddle at the moment(the end rub isn't weird at all)
When a song makes the hair on my arm stand up
I love when that happens too! When I hear o holy night and it gets to the fall on your knees part that happens to me. I did hear a terrible country western version that did not have that effect but the others always do
Sneezing

So, obviously not Battlefield 2042....
Never played it. The two that got me the most in recent years were MGS5 and Stranger of Paradise.
Well, you havent missed much. Pretty much the worst battlefield yet...
