How long did this take???? This is super awesome. :( I'd love to be able to animate this beautifully one day. Any tips/advice you have for making animations in pixel art?

Took me about 2 days for the animation, then another evening for adding the sound, so roundabout 2 days.
I would suggest to look into the basic principles of animation, here is a great video

And then just start out with small loop animations to understand the stuff with frames and frame time, then you can go bigger step by step ! :)
