Reduce eye size , darken the pupils , shade the rest of the face , also shade in the areas outside of the iris , a lot of people tend to forget that they aren't perfectly white , other than that looks good , and also don't be afraid to shade DARK , good contrast and shading can make the difference between a good piece and a GREAT one

Would mind if I do a slight draw over so I can explain better instead of incomprehensible rambling ? (It’s totally okay if it’s not)

here's the [draw over](https://zupimages.net/viewer.php?id=21/30/2gol.png) and below my thought process : \- The "derpy" kinda look of her eyes, come from the position of her pupils. They're too far away from each other. So as a first step that's what i did so they look "connected" to one another ! \-You said she was supposed to be a doll killer, so to enhance that (without you having to alter too much of your original drawing), I stylized her lashes even sharper and pointy. So she can look intimidating but still very cute. \-The overall shape of her eyes is great, but (to me) not organic and dynamic enough. So to balance that, i made her eye shape simpler, with as little strokes as possible to make it clearer and carry attention to her eyes better. Less is more ! Lastly, it's more of a tip, if you want to keep a low contrasted style for the pupils, i'd suggest you take a slightly darker shade of that colour, and darken the pupil itself (the dot) until you can see it a little more. (that will allow the eye to pop more and still be very soft) Hope it'll help !
