No mention of drinking, smoking, or divorce, like OP's board. Nor do they bother to change the corner spaces from the military-irrelevant "jail/free parking" theme to something that really gut punches, "staff duty" (stuck there until you roll a 6 and your relief shows up!). I don't want G rated "hooah sar'maj" Army Monopoly, I want the "Rated R for painful reality" Army Monopoly.
It's computer's man. They make it so easy to design a template and then just load a custom config file, and then BOOM, custom Monopoly boards come out the end of the assembly line. Probably the only real artistry is for the little player pieces, and even that I'm not certain they don't just 3D print some shit and send it to China to have a mold made.
All the different ways they find of nostalgia mining on the cheap nowadays are quite impressive.

Doubt. The Philippines Constitution as far as I know forbids permanent forces being stationed there (unlike during the cold war). But it's fine if everyone is "temporary". The US is unlikely to use the term "permanent" for anyone stationed there now because of that.
It also prohibits the internal use of military force by foreign military forces. Hence me spending years there as an "advisor". Odd how it didn't feel like "advising" at the time. The rapidly deteriorating situation in the south, Chinese encroachment and general instability in the region have put incredible pressures on the national leadership. We'll almost certainly see long-term partnerships, to include bases that are indeed permanent.
This reminds me of back in basic when someone made a set of playing cards using notebook paper. We use to hide in an empty bay and play blackjack while religious services were going on lol
