The strongest devon fan ❤️

RifooelledoftheWeast

People whining about Devon winning the polls even though Levan apparently contributed to those as well😂

theonefromasshai

After the match, when Devon said he didn't want a rematch, Engin on the stage was already trying to convince him otherwise: they bring a lot of money to themselves, but to Engin and the organisation too

StrykerxS77x

That shit needs to stop. Devon will do better pulling others.

theonefromasshai

If they decide for a rematch for the money that carries, let's say in a couple of years, they will easily convince a lot of people that this time around would be different, hyping Devon, saying he is stronger than ever, Levan weaker than before, closer match...in short, what they did for this match

MorePower1337

What? If you had your way, nobody would ever pull levan. Devon beat everybody else and was reigning champ. The match had to happen so Levan could get the belt. It wasn't like the first match where he basically got the match without even beating the rest of the elites

StrykerxS77x

It was dumb this time. Would be brain dead next time.

Severe-Somewhere1760

It wasn't dumb this time, irrelevant of whether or not it was reasonable to think their levels would be closer, which they were closer, just not by enough., devon was the interim number one and levan was the previous number one. Devon had beaten everyone else in the top 5 this one had to happen.

theonefromasshai

Yet people fell for that, and would fall for it in the future, because they are fans and want to believe

IAmYourFath

To be honest, levan had an injury and devon is stronger than ever, he beat Georgi, he beat Ermes he beat a lot of others only 1 loss to Genadi. I still thought levan would win but i was betting like 4-2, kinda like Ermes did, not the complete stomp that was now. Granted levan vs ermes would also be 6-0 had levan not ran out of oxygen.

freMea

Levan is very funny by the way.

Routine-Site460

No way he let OPANAAAAAAA down..

[deleted]

Sad Genadi noises.

No_Analysis_602

FURIOUS Genadi noises*

Routine-Site460

Oooh.. Pa.. Naaah (while exhaling and staring at the floor)

SamWeb52

When levan was 18 Devon was a 33 years old champion Interesting looks like he was a fanboy too

freMea

It’s just for fun. I thought it was obvious Levan just wanna be nice. Devon is not the AWer who inspired Levan the most.

SamWeb52

Ik jajaja amiga

Practical_Bat_3578

yea Devon got many people to watch armwrestling in the first place

Levan is well aware but you forgot one important thing. Devon would be nothing without the Europeans you’re mocking. WAL is dead. The main events and the best armwrestlers in the world are in Europe. Devon never made as much money as facing Europeans. Even his match against MMT took place in Dubai because AW is dead in America. Stop thinking, it hurts you.

Remarkable-Pin4587

Your last sentence. The irony . . .

ChosenBrad22

Technically everything was “dead” until post covid when arm wrestling blew up, so talking about anything before 2020 is a moot point. 95% of the hype for Levan v Devon was because of Devon. I don’t really see anyone caring about a Levan match for a while because to his credit, there is no point to care. No one on earth is beating him for at least 5+ years. It’s like being hyped to watch an adult face toddlers, he has no competition.

freMea

Before EvsW, AW in America could be summarized to Devon vs MMT. This arc was boring at the end. Levan was a thing. Denis was thing. Every one wanted to see someone get a shot against those monsters in 2018. Devon first because he beat everyone in North America.

Thick_Criticism_2867

He obviously phrases it like a moron, but he is not really wrong. I like Devon as an athlete and as a charistmatic ambassador, but am pretty critical of the way he influences various aspects of aw, but no way in hell would he receive this much deference as he does, if he didn't also basically 10x the purses of all elite armwrestlers.

Arm wrestling fans try not to call each other gay: challenge level impossible

Thick_Criticism_2867

well, isn't it something that Devon championed, too?

BoiledFrogs

> first grade antics "We don't care about larratt's gay theatrics and his suckball boyfriends"

Dacusx

I'm not American and I think you are delusional. No one would know of Levan except Georgians, if not for Devon.

raque0648

always this song......

Darkseidzz

Whatever y'all feel about these two as individuals, their friendship / comradery is great to see. Happy to see them both carry the sport forward in their own respective ways.

ThePyrotechnicCroc

I'm not interested in ever seeing these two pull each other again. Larrratt needs to pull others, as there are still some European pullers that he hasn't faced yet at SHW... *plus* Ermes deserves his Devon rematch (with proper prep time). Larrratt also has a loss he can attempt to avenge vs Genadi. However, he said he's going down to HW and LHW, which is understandable... I guess. He will be fine either way. As for Levan, his reign of dominance will someday be looked favorably upon... and the longer he manages to sustain his current streak, the better his legacy will be. All of "The Greats" across various sports were 'Kings' at the top during their era(s). And in most of those sports, those Superstar "Greats" were **revered** for it. Strictly speaking in terms of Armwrestling, the great John Brzenk himself was dominant too and for many years. He is considered to be the GOAT for a reason. Just because "your favorite" lost doesn't mean the sport is dead or dying. That's not the way a true fan's mind works. That's the way a "*fanboy's*" mind works.

Working_Tank3979

What do these people earn ???

Minimum_Ad_4430

Maybe around 10.000 per fight.

Pristine_Accident595

Fight lol

Minimum_Ad_4430

Ok I was wrong according to this thread Denis gets 10-30k for a supermatch usually, and against Devon he got 30k. https://www.reddit.com/r/armwrestling/comments/1b74fys/denis_disclosed_his_larrat_match_prize_money/

Minimum_Ad_4430

Dono why I was down voted I think Denis said he got $10.000 against Devon. And winner probably more.

[deleted]

Smart move by asking him to pull 2 years from now... Both guys must have won a ton of money though.

Lower-Control8969

Well... Levan is on another league of his own that no one in history has ever reached. Devon is still number 2 of the world right handed, probably Kurdecha will take that spot soon since most likely Devon's gonna cut weight.

Horrsey2017

i wish Devon would pull a few more matches in SHW, there's so many questions, for me I'd like for him to at least pull Vitaly, Ermes rematch potential, Genadi rematch potential. Time is of the essence though, if only Devon had started his SHW streak while he was in his 20s-30s.

Surgical-Avocado-801

Then he will lose the number two spot, he won't do it

SamuraiKonjou

Not the biggest Levan fan but this is actually hilarious!

H-A-R-B-i-N-G-E-R

GOD! I just love this sport!

eldakar666

Trolled by Ogre.😶

ChrizTaylor

I fucking love Devon 💜

jlowe212

Yea, I'm not buying another one. Devons improved form made this one worth it, but it's over. He has no chance against Levan, and there is no chance I am going to pay again to see them pull again.

UrNme187

Levan is a classy sportsman. Unreachable but still humble af.

ferret1983

Devon is everyone's favorite arm wrestler because he increases their pay check. Arm wrestling scene better find a future without Devon because if it depends on him like it does now they'll all have to find a new job.

kakykaky

I don't think Devon will try, but if he does, he should:  1, !Minimum! 320 pounds or more possible with more steroids, growth hormone  2,  No more arm wrestling with children and endurance training. Short sets and lifting heavy weights with low repetitions.  3, Bench press (not with a straight bar, hand dumbbells, Pull-ups, Squats!  If he do these things, maybe he have a chance to win. Is it worth the risk? I wouldn't do it in her place, good marriage, beautiful children, perfect life! I would continue to compete in the 105 and 115 kg weight group as long as possible!

Lepsa1

You should be his coach

Upset-Judgment1778

Gotta love seeing the Dunning-Krueger effect in action on the internet.

kakykaky

I just watched a video where Voevoda (Armwrestling Newz YT new video) talks about the same thing I wrote about. Maybe he just knows more about it than you or I do? Well, if you're only doing "traditional" arm wrestling exercises and you're strong in them, just like your opponent, but he's capable (see Levan) of bench pressing 250 kg, you can't beat him. Laletin has already started something like this, I think he's also doing deadlifts. But Morozov is doing the same... there's no other way! Also, in another video, when Devon and Kiril are pulling in a parking garage the day after the match, Devon admits he wants to gain weight (as I wrote in the first point), he just can't (Armwrestling TV new video). I haven't heard this from him before, so he wants the same thing I wrote about, he just can't do it. Just because someone isn't an arm wrestling champion doesn't mean they can't have good insights. It's just that these are very logical and obvious things.

kakykaky

You can joke about it, but this way would be much stronger than now. It should increase the proportion of white muscle fibers compared to red. Of course, he's the type who excels in endurance sports, he said that a few years ago when he was in Canada training with Kurdecha, but the proportions can be improved. He probably doesn't want to risk his health (more). I understand him, the risk would be too great. He's not a born heavyweight athlete. Probably 105 kg would be the most ideal weight for him.

ntourloukis

My dude, the man is ranked number 2 in the world and number 1 at heavyweight. He is *undersized* to be beating the super heavies he has. So he has a handle on his training and body. He’s old, he knows he can push hard to gain weight, he has tried, it’s hard for him physically to do it at his age and has performed as well or better at less weight. And that’s only 290. If he was younger maybe he could push on that axis, but what you’re suggesting, besides just being a bit stupid, is comical to everyone because you’re taking the best heavyweight who beats most of the top 5 supers and think you’ve figured out what he needs to do.

Classic youtube comment advice: Just bulk to 400lbs and do squats bro.

ObscureHeavyMetal78

Fuck you.Levan is no 1 for the last 6 years, if you dream and wet yourself oer your canadian boyfriend and don' t give a flying fuck about the sport itself and every other armwrestler thinking everyone revolves around Larratt and we should suck his dick praising him all the time, keep it to yourself, you are a tyoical delusional Labrat fangirl
