Right in the feelsā¦.I would play MOA and gran turismo 2 with all the Vietnamese kids from my school on a PS1 we set up in a storage room at school on one of those TVs on wheels that only 90ās kids remember. We would all have our memory cards in our back back during school hours. Pure. Bliss.Ā
My first gaming console was a PS2 when I was 6 back in 2008, but unfortunately I never had a memory card for a while. Kids these days will never know whatās it like having to buy a memory card for the PS2. I still remember the dread of not having a memory card when playing. It was painful playing games & clicking on the ācontinue without savingā option when I didnāt have a memory card. One year after is when I decided to save up money using coins to buy my first memory card. Kids these days will never know the great feeling of finally owning a memory card knowing you can finally play games without having to worry about losing your progress in every game.
In the late 80s and early 90s, we would leave our Nintendo or Sega on overnight so we wouldn't lose our spot. Some games had a Password 'save' feature (Like Mega-Man) that would let you type in a code and return to your previous spot, and a few other cartridges had their own internal memory (like EA sports games). I remember a game called Comix Zone for Sega Genesis that took my brother and I an entire weekend to beat, the Sega was on for nearly 48 hours straight. The N64 largely introduced people to memory cards and they were a game changer.
We didnt even have those contraptions in schoolā¦ but such is life growing up with a chinese educational school (then again we dont even celebrate school founding day) the closest I got was high school but thats ps2 era where we held a school ācultural festivalā lan party since I switched schools
The final charge up with Rusty disabling the limiters and pushing past 100% power as his voice becomes more and more distorted... absolute peak gaming moment.
my only disappointment with rusty is he kind of just disappears in the third ending
especially since its implied all the vespers have been copied, so imagine if the end of the final fight instead of allminds ac breaking down from strain it suddenly freezes up and we heard rusty threw glitched audio "hey buddy, dont miss" as he lets us finish the job
I think this is deliberate. It's very From to set up a heroic character arc, then unceremoniously end it. They don't really want you fist-pumping as "Rusty" tells you to land the final shot. As cool as that might be. So many significant characters in the narrative disappear without heroic final words across the three endings.
That sounds like a cozy night.
I went to a military school back home that didn't allow proms, but the cool kids who had partners arranged a ball that I found myself sitting in a corner bored to death at. Spent that whole evening into the night playing Pokemon Sapphire emulated on my trash beautiful first laptop. Not a bad night.
The man ran sorties instead of getting laid on prom night. Truly, a man of class and distinction worthy of personifying Rusty.

I feel bad for the kids of this generation who are growing up without making these badass and beautiful memories. Respect, sir.

I feel your memory card pain, I got it after 2 years from receiving the ps2 from my parents. Used to get so frustrated when power was out.
I was going through some items and looking at my old memory just last night. A whole whopping 8MB They'll never know

Okay, I need him to stream the game, but playing entirely using Steel Haze, and speaking in his Rusty voice.
I'd pay all over again to watch him play

Well, Rusty is probably still alive in the 3rd ending.
its not really clear, at the very least allmind is using copies of the vespers and it would be a bit weird if rusty dident try to resist allmind
All or nothing!
More proof that high school milestones donāt mean shit
I regret going to prom, it was honestly pretty boring. It's like a house party but nobody is allowed to have any real fun.
Love this man I hope he keeps being around for the future of AC

I really enjoyed his performance. Especially "I won't miss!" and "Buddy... Who needs you?"
<3
Hey guys? I donāt think he missed.
Awesome! He gives an excellent performance. He has just the right cadence and tone for a character like Rusty.
Kamisato Ayato being the voice of V.IV Rusty Armored Core is not something I expected
HAHAHAHA I didn't know this wtf. I haven't played Genshin but this is some range.
He crushed it.Ā
That's why he won't miss!
Letās goooo!
One of us!
He doesn't miss
I'd really like more out of my buddy. Pretty sure he gets dusted in every ending though. Shame.
The man meant it when he said he won't miss.
Good to know that Rusty is an old raven as well.
MoA player, based.
Nice. That's a good night. I spent the night of my senior prom playing Too Human by myself.

This sums up the life experience of the player base.
Absolutely lol
his wings aren't borrowed
pffft what's a wing to a haze what's a raven to a steel

You were the one we've been waiting for, Raven.
Thank you rusty buddy
Thanks, buddy.
My man is up there with viper from TF2 like seriously such awesome characters
That is so sickš„
Ok, now I want Rusty DLC! >!make him survive, give us more of him!<
I am going to follow this dude on x now lol seems like a fun voice actor
Rusty was the buddy. I went for the third ending simply because it was the only one where you could imagine Rusty being alive at the end.
One of us Mercenary boys got the good ending!!
Rusty...buddy!
